I'd like to see him get a rematch with Margarito, this time without the broken hand. It was pretty clear to me where that fight was going before he got that bit of bad luck. I don't think Corrales has a chance in this one.Originally Posted by amat

So what weight does Corrales actually walk around at? I mean i know he was a string-bean at 130 but if he thnks he's comfortable at 147 then how much weight was he shedding to get down to super-featherweight
I don't know what to expect from Corrales at Welterweight. I mean aside from an edge in hand speed and (still) size, is there any other benifits from not having to loose so much weight?
As for fighting Clottey in your first fight at Welter... Blimey!

The skeptical part of me thinks that maybe Corrales and his management team already worry that he's on the downside, and want to get one last decent-sized payday before he gets exposed.
Better to get beaten while making some good money on a Showtime card than to get beaten by some no-name welterweight.

If thats true (and of course, im not missing some political problem) his management are a bunch of numb-nuts.
Surely he could of made just as much money fighting the Hatton-Castillo winner

Although I think this is a bad choice for Corrales, I think that it is a kick ass fight for boxing. I think it will be a banger while it lasts. Although I hate it that Corrales wants to throw himself to the wolves, I am tired of all these fights setting up other fights, fighters worried about their perfect record, and fighters wanting to play it safe. Hell ya this is cool.
