I went to France last summer for a few weeks and spent 4 days in paris. Aside from all the typical tourist stuff make sure the get to the Left Bank, that's where all the artsy, bohemian stuff is.

I have family that lives in france b/c my dad's sister married a frenchman. They have two houses, one in St. Germain, which is in paris and one in the south of france in a town called Cavalaire which is about 5-10 minutes from St. Tropez.

Be careful cause you can get ripped of in paris! I ate at this restaurant that was right near the Eiffel tower so we figured it would be good, my meal alone was $40 and was basically fast food quality or below and gave me food poisoning. I also bought a beer that cost something like 16 euros or over $20 for like a 12 oz glass in paris.

Incidentally I can speak french for shit and am American and never had a bad experience with any of the people there. There were some beautiful women there; so much more refined than american women.
