I assumed you were from england, that's why I recommended you there. This'll save you the trouble: http://www.boxinggyms.com/addresses/england.htm
Here's another listing: http://www.boxinghelp.com/uk_england.html
There's a few good gyms in london.

found one thanks chris cc mate
Good, make sure you do your homework before you hand over your money. It's best that you go meet the owner of the gym, if you're comfortable with him you'll probably be comfortable in that gym.
Also in the first week find out somethings about the resident trainers. What are their successes with amateur/professional trainers. Keep your best interests in mind while finding things out. Is the trainer liable or is a lot of fighters he was with switching to others.
You also want a place that can offer what you need to know, it really helps to have a trainer that knows what he's talking about. And another thing stay away from the places where the trainer doesn't give much attention to guys other than their star pupils.
Good luck with that.

so, you've never actually boxed or even received formal training in the sport, but you were thinking of going pro?Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

A round or 2 w/ a professional would add a whole new perspective to that.
Ali was able to spar with Willy Pastrano when he was an amateur, but his amateur record was pretty solid with the Panamerican, golden gloves and olympic medal under his belt.
