I haven't seen last nights fight yet but against Quintana he was very active moving in and moving out. So I think he's a lot better off coming in and moving out then a lot of people expect him to be.

And Judah, well I think his skills are overrated. He has good speed and pop but a very subpar defense and he isn't right around the edges. You can hit him with the straight right whenever you want basically, he gets hit a lot moving in or out and he drops his hands after every single punch. Most of the time when he is moving out, he's doing it hands down moving straight back. He's such an egotistical fighter and he thinks he can get away with doing all that and he won't get hurt. Then of course when he does get hurt he collapses.

I think we can count on a good 3 to 6 rounds from Zab before he is broken down. He's crumbled against guys who hit a lot lighter then Judah and it only takes one punch for it to happen. Even if he doesn't have a mental breakdown, I think Cotto is the more polished and disciplined boxer of the two.

So I'm picking Cotto. Possibly by late round KO but more then likely it'll end up a lopsided UD.
Cotto doesn't have a golden defense either. And You should watch the Urkal fight.. if he walks into the Judah fight like that then Judah may win it.

this fight could go either way. im picking judah because i think judah can hurt cotto just like chop chop did. the difference is judah will finish him. after judah wins everybody will talk about how he's grown up and how focus he was.

    how you figure that

the only thing cotto has on judah is power.

i give speed, defense, footwork to judah

both there chins are questionable IMO

Agreed, basically.. I would give Cotto stamina and focus as well, but to say he is better in all aspects of the sport is clearly BS. Judah is way faster, and though his chin is bad like you say his defence and foot work are better, along with overall skills. I pick Judah to win this fight, to be honest... But I will refrain from being to opinionated on the matter until the fight is closer to happening. I think a lot of people let their hating Judah influence the chances they actually give him to win.

I've seen the Urkal fight and yeah it was a bit sloppy but it wasn't like it was a bad showing or anything just not spectacular. And Urkal was basically in there to survive and it's always difficult to look good against a guy like that especially in your home town. But yeah it wasn't Cotto's best and he would be doing no good to his chances if he fought the same type of fight against Judah but I have reason to believe he won't. Judah is the biggest fight in his career so far and it's a lot easier to get up for a fight like that then it is to get up for a fight against Oktay Urkal. And he still won without getting hit all that much so I don't take to much from that fight.

cotto gets a question mark in the stamina category also. i have this memory of him fading in fights. that might of been when he was at 140 and was due to him trying to make weight.

Cotto had pneumonia the week of the Urkal fight and fought anyway. Cotto said " that’s what champions do fight through it" .. He went str8 to the hospital after the Urkal fight and was still hospitalized as a few days ago. Cotto is a real warrior , he have good mental toughness. Zab is a snuff queen in comparison . all the intangibles favor Cotto at this stage..

I am going to regret this but....I have to agree......

Judah is (and I always say this) one of boxings biggest waste of talent.....IMO he has it all but the mental make up of a champion...If Zab could only hold it together mentally he would be P4P easy....

Like VD said Judah is desperate and needs this win...Not so much wants but NEEDS!!!!...He loses here it is has been land for him.....So if Zab comes in on point and half focused i see him edging out a decision....When Zab is motivated he is dangerous....

    Good Point bruv.

Even if that wasn't the case Juda has enough talent to get Cotto out of there pretty quickly.

Given the circumstances, this is a very, very hard fight to call....

Judah will do well for first 5 rounds he may stagger Cotto few times but when Judah's workrate starts to drop and he loses his concentration he gets beat down and is stopped on his feet in the 10th

Judah wins every single round. Until Cotto catches him to the body and Zab folds like origami. Judah has the tools to defeat everyone in the division; he just doesn't have the will.

you never know with zab, he was shit against baldo but real good against pbf ( at beggining) . If zab is on his a game, he can take an easy win , many would be shocked. Cotto isnt much of a boxer, just look how he was getting tagged by Urkal, zab is faster and stronger than urkal. so if zab shows u in good shape he wins a ud but if he comes in in similar shape as when he fought baldo, cotto will take advantage of judah in the middle-end rounds and ko his weak chin. Zab needs to do alot of stamina work or else he will be doomed cuz he will have to move , duck all day while cotto won't leave him for a while. This should be a superfight!!

Zab takes the fight AS LONG AS he doesn't take any flush body shots from Cotto.

Zab has the speed with power on the back-up enough to frustrate Cotto, as opposed to Malignaggi, where Cotto could simply ignore getting hit.

At any rate my guess would be Judah UD.

Personally I am really looking forward to this fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
