i dont really think its right that vitali gets a title shot straight away. but even if oleg did fight sam peter instead of vitali i can still see him getting beat and losing his title.
but vitali fighting byrd would achieve nothing if you ask me. byrd won by default realy and vitali would just give him another klitchiko beating if they faught again.

I don't think Byrd is like that anymore, he's not "Rapid Fire" either, I think a the Chris Byrd from way back would be able to take Peter, and perhaps have done a number on Wladimir before the ukrainian could find his right. I mentioned Evander because I know that since Chris beat him before he won't have any trouble beating an older rusty Holyfield.

I'd like to see him take on Calvin Brock, but I think that Brock is a little better, and as the bigger man he wouldn't have the kind of trouble fighting Byrd as he did Wlad.

I think that Byrd can beat alot of the old names, and guys like Ray Austin wouldn't present much trouble for him to out point.

I'm starting to think though that a Byrd/Guinn fight would be a pretty match up. That and I'd like to see that and a Vitali/Peter fight.

Too bad he didn't stay at middleweight, that's where the action has shifted to these years, and I still remember the fast pace, and punches that made a few of us think that Byrd was the next best thing way back when.

No way in hell Sam has a chance at beating Vitali. Sam won't take a rematch with Wlad either.

About the only competition facing either Klitschko is the OTHER Klitschko.
