I got the perfect strategy for Delehoya. Remember that Pernell Whitaker fight where he pulls Mayweather's shorts down. Now if Delahoya has the huevos to do that it would do more than get even with Pretty Boy's antics. Game-- Set.

CC#150 on me, you beat me to it....

How about Salvador Sanchez, RJJ, Dariusz Michalczewski (though I don't a whole lot of him outside the ring inside he was always in shape and ready to go)
Today I would say; Cotto, the Marquez Bros., Margarito, PBF (tough if you take into consideration eating chips while working out then that does not show discipline), Kess, Joe C., SSM, Tszyu, Carlos Hernandez.
CC back. I was thinking a couple of these names as well (RJJ, Tszyu). RJJ was going at it full throttle when he was still taking names. Tszyu trained like a champion himself until the latter part of his career he had long bouts of inactivity. I think even the most dedicated fighters slow down in the end.

Even Marciano who was a big time gym rat was getting tired of the smell in the gym. I guess anyone has a point beyond staleness that they just want to hang up the gloves.

Ok, I have told this story before.
I was in a club, and Floyd Duckweather Jr was there near the bar. I was with my peeps and I ordered a MARGARITA and Floyd looked at me and ran like there was no tomorrow. Poor Floyd, he thought I said Margarito. Ever since Tony showed up and sneaked up behind Floyd and asked him why he was DUCKING him, FLoyd has been running every time he hears the name Margarita or Margarito. I guess Floyd does not know that Margarita is a famous Mexican drink.
JT Rock knows what video I am talking about. The one where floyd is constantly looking over his shoulder like he was hidding from somebody he owed money to or the police was after him.
I have the video on disk.

    And you know this man!

lol, that's a classic campfire story. Now you know where he gets his shoulder-roll move from.

"What is it Floyd?", "I thought I heard somebody say Margarito" This one's on the house...

    Busted!

Hagler and Hopkins are good ones that fit the bill. Of course, Marciano was the quintessential in-shape guy who always came in ready to rumble at full-tilt boogie.

It was a big sacrifice for Marciano. He hardly got to see his family. The big thing with Marciano was that he was really single minded when it came to fighting and making the money. I also gotta say that a lot of the fighter's discipline falls on the shoulder of the trainer.

p.s. Nice avatar by the way.

Tszyu! His training regime was incredible. Fatton only beat him because of age.

Calzaghe and SSM deserve mention too
Um Ali was very undisciplined. He didn't take alot of his opponents seriously like Chuvalo, Frazier III, and he suffered for it. Early in his career he almost lost a few fights like against Doug Jones because he undertrained.
Maybe but compared to other Heavyweight champs he was very diciplined. no drinking drugs etc...but he did like the women..i suppose you are correct maybe he shouldnt be on the list. Frazier 3 had nothing to do wih conditioning though imo and more to do with age and punishment
