cc for the above post chris. good reply to Gally.

btw, I didn't mention the wrist connection to yuo a couple days ago because I hadn't thought of it yet! that that one too. they're both pretty good, but I think the elbow one is harder on the shoulder, while letting you snap it out there faster. Right now I mix it up between the two, and sometimes I'll connect them both as I've shown, but that's a very hard workout. a few reps and your arm is tired as hell.

Anyways Von, you should be proud. After all the anticipation and attention this thread was getting you should have announced a release date, or better yet made a public service announcement.

By the way I got a good exercise with the bungees that you try. Bungees + Speedbag. I think hell comes next. I haven't tried it, but I have tried doing my favorite speed bag work after 5 intense minutes using the bungees. You should know first hand that after doing the bungee work how beat your arms feel.

Anyways you should come up with a name for your new baby.

the pulley system is the power puncher 2000. This is the power jabber 3000.

Yeah, I thought of that...the speedbag motion. Haven't tried it either though.

have you ever tried a speedbag with wristweights, or even little dumbells and hitting it with the butt ends?

    That's good.

Talking about the speedbag, I've used wrist weights before, it does make it harder. I don't like the idea about sacrificing speed when I'm trying get better at a move. Maybe you've saw that way in your experience in baseball where you have those weighted balls which aren't much good besides beaning pricks you don't like. I'd like to try the power jabber with the speedbag. I like the fact that you don't end up losing speed, snap or power. First I gotta get some longer bungees and a good ankle strap.

I was just thinking of how you could make it more portable say for instance when you're doing bagwork. One thing I thought might work is to anchor it to a heavy weight such as putting a hook around a dumbell's handle.

I put something up regards bunji rope and the bag the best way from a belt on the bag to a belt round the waist 3" shorter than your jab try it its good with the elbow attachment put the other below the opposite knee teaches posture makes the gluets work with the elbow.
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

and obviously wrap it around in back of you.... otherwise it's simply lateral movement and no real resistance.

You told me that before Scrap. cc. I'll try that, because truth be told, although it's getting better, my jab sucks on the bag. In shadow boxing, no problemo, but on the bag it's always been an issue of finding my range.

also stepping forward with your jab puts weight behind it and snapping it. That is why some guys like Hearns keep it low, somehow you can put more snap when it is moving up.

hearns got more leverage by simply dangling it and swinging it back and forth and that provided some momentum for when he actually threw it.

What Hearns did was the term hitting them with the back foot the back foot lands the same time as the fist.
