    Typical Pacquiao fan response let the the competition beat itself up in mini wars and then fight Pac Man. When is Pac Man going to fight an up and coming, young aggressive fighter and offer him the same opportunity he was given by MAB. But the Pac criteria has to be met:

    * old
    * slow afoot
    * coming off a loss
    * coming up in weight
    * not a belt holder
    * can not be a champion who has the nerve to ask for the larger purse. How dare him be prideful!

    Guzman would be the better choice for Pacmans camp. Did anyone notice how well Soto handles southpaws ? See Rocky Juarez & Bobby Pac. Soto was very fluid & their were no head butts ..... he actually presented problems instead of being troubled by the southpaw stance.
    just by the first word you wrote proves how you lack real knowledge.

    "old" do some research first kid guzman is 31 years old, older than anyone pac has fought smart guy

    yea soto look good against the past two southpaws rocky and bobby uhh ok....wait til pac hands him his ass, then what else you got to say

    rocky or bobby is no manny pacman you bet your ass you agree to that too

    I'd prefer the Guzman fight. I feel it'd be more important as he's undefeated and rated highly at the mo.

    Yep has to be Guzman for me, that fight must be the most competitive one out there at the minute for Pacman, without going over old ground. I think Guzman is can beat Manny too. He's one of my favourtive boxers to watch, and I usually prefer to watch the come forward fighters like Hatton, Cotto, etc. but Guzman just has that style of defence that leaves your jaw open, and he comes to fight as well, he'll trade on the inside and somehow slip the shots.
    Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

    I think Manny will be eyeing people from a couple divisions below him rather than go for Soto or Guzman.

    Guzman. I like both guys but I think Guzman makes for a bit better fight and probably has the better chance of winning.

    I am not hatin I am just eager to see Pac fulfill his promise rather than beat up on the Larios & Solis' & of the word and give nut huggin guys like you a platform to speak gibberish. . So if Pac loses his next fight I guess you'll be on myspace opening a Pac Man tribute page cuz you have no business in here since all you know is Pac. I just feel as do many that the hype supercedes the accomplishments and you are anointing him as the greatest thing since Kellogg's cornflakes. How many championships belts has he won since the MAB fight? How much money has he made vs how much money should he have made ? To date his biggest accomplishments are his stupid personal/ financial & managerial FU** ups ! Even then his fans blame his lack of competitive fights on Arum & GBP... what ever happened to being a responsible grown up and accountability for your decisions. What is Pac Arums b*tch . In short I do not hate Pac, just his excuse riddled following of limited boxing knowledgeable fans. Many have no more business commenting on boxing as Pac himself does on politics or managerial advice.

    As fas Guzman being young I was referring to his ring age. As I am sure you are a true young boxer can quickly become old/shot quickly. Lame reply !!

    Comments like that only show your ignorance about boxing "you have no business in here since all you know is Pac".

    Whoaa! You're emplying you've been reading all my comments here in Saddo ever since I registered? And every comments that I made here was all about Pac? Lol!

    Obviously your'e so eager to see Pacquiao lose, just keep waiting then my friendo. I myself won't hold my breath, because once Pacman gets a hold of the likes of Soto, Guzman, or even Juan Diaz. It'd be you who would be making pathetic excuses. Line 'em up.

    Relax Mr. internet stud muffin. Take a chill pill,.. It's all good.

    I feel sorry for you

    Let me school you again.

    First of your holding pac against a phantom promise, any links to ever quote him with a promise he made?

    Give Larios credit for stepping up to the man, pac needed a fight in the phillipines for his home crowd. which anyone will agree he deserves after taking the states by storm. give Larios credit for accepting that opportunity since mab wanted no part of getting even with pac by beating him in his home crowd since pac beat mab in his home crowd in san antonio.

    Give Solis credit for accepting an opportunity any up and comer undefeated fighter will dream of.(a showdown with the king of the division.

    And give pac credit for giving both man the opportunity to face him.

    So you ask if pac loses in his next fight but who do you think will that be to

    Greatest thing since cornflakes Don't know about that but you gotta admit pac is helping the sport survive, and damn right we need more pacman in boxing.

    How many belts has he won since mab noun... him winky and even floyd the top three p4p don't really care about abc titles do you? pac is recognize as the ring featherweight champ and as the peoples champ which is the most honorable title in boxing today.

    How much money has he made vs how much money should he have made ? uhh what the fwock are you talking about? this kind of question should refer to fighters like jmm not pac, jmm went to chris johns backyard for like a few hundred thousand and lost but he should of made million rematching pac.

    To date his biggest accomplishments are his stupid personal/ financial & managerial FU** ups ! actually ain't nobody ever pimp two of the biggest promotions in boxing ever like how pac did. Think about it, he made oscar fall in love with him offered him everything but dumped his spoiled as for the more richer old and experience promoter and doubled what oscar offered him. That there is brilliant too bad the common man don't have enough intelligents to see that :P

    Even then his fans blame his lack of competitive fights on Arum & GBP... what ever happened to being a responsible grown up and accountability for your decisions. you can't blame pac more than you can blame anyone else. oscars silly as is too bitter to agree with arum, hell don king and arum has been thru worst but they make dollars when it makes sense. Plus can you name anyone really eager to fight pacman, I highly doubt it and you can bet your last dollar pac will fight anyone and he don't duck nobody.

    What is Pac Arums b*tch? No they partners, you really ain't hating on pac with comments like that huh. Let me guess your 16 thats why you don't see the difference?

    In short I do not hate Pac, just his excuse riddled following of limited boxing knowledgeable fans. Many have no more business commenting on boxing as Pac himself does on politics or managerial advice. funny stuff your the one who got schooled again kiddo

    I know everyone loves Soto right now, he's an awkward fighter who came on big on short notice against Juarez and has now reemerged with 2 wins on TV but I think Guzman is a P4P talent who has possibly the best defense south of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    I think from a stylistic standpoint, a win over a boxer as talented as Guzman, even if he doesn't have a high profile, would tell A LOT about Pacquiao. Remember, he's been outboxed twice before against two of the purer boxers in the division in Marquez and Morales.

    But they are more the boxer-puncher type, Guzman is pure Havoline. A win over a very slick boxer like Guzman would really help Pacquiao when you really pick apart his record. He's fought the all action fighters like Soto before, but never someone like Guzman.

    I would give a lot of respect to Pacquiao if he fought Guzman. I think it's going to be Soto though. Not that's bad, it will be an action fight but I would rather it be Guzman.

    I would prefer guzman after a jmm rematch too, I do think guzman is the best behind pac and jmm now that jmm took mab out the picture.

    a win over guzman is a new win for pacman because of what you mentioned and I totally agree. The thing is we don't know if it really will be harder on pacman fighting a guy like guzman or fighting the likes of war veteran who have no choice but to abondon all game plans and the heck with it. I'm not so sure if it may be easier or harder for pac to beat a guzman because, what if guzmans game plan don't go as smooth. What will guzman do? can he trade with pac, what I'm sure of is guzman will be force to trade at some part of the fight. guzman is going to have to make sure those trade are short and quick and he needs to move right afterwards. If guzman isn't slick enough consistantly his going to get ktfo by pacman.

    Remember guys guzman is 31, he just made it to the bigs if his as good as we think he is, how come it took him so long to make it big?

    I'd rather have him go up in weight and fight some stronger competition. It's not going to happen, I find that it's more likely that he'll go down in weight take on some easier fights.

    Chris and Bilbo, I don't think that it's THAT Bad that PAC fought Larios and Solis considering both fighters are over 5'7" and have builds that of a natural superfeather and both are bigger than PAC, Up to this point in PAC's career I really can't say that PAC fought somebody smaller than him that's why to say that PAC will be eyeing guys smaller than him is kinda absurd.
    To move to 135 is dangerous for PAC who's considerably NOT big at 130 already, Id rather see him beat Guzman, Valero, Sotto and Marquez at 130 then retire.
