My friend the math does not fail, but the human eye does. I encourage you to watch the fight again and watch closely the first rounds and re-think if De La Hoya won all 8 rounds. And, watch the fight in details not just the combos at the end of rounds that De La Hoya had, watch the complete rounds (each of 3 minutes). And yes, it was a dammed closed fight. I have to say that I was expecting a lot more action in that fight, but De La Hoya running did not make it possible. I see very good opportunities for a totally different fight from De La Hoya who had expressed that he wants to make fights like Barrera - Morales instead of a cat and mouse game.
