N scrap, the reason you haven't heard of it is because we rarely RARELY see it used here in Europe.
Although, iv seen Hatton adopt a few elements of this defense since the Maussa fight.
It would be better to call it the 'retarded monkey stance.' Having your hands up on your head all the time does not account for a good defense, it's impartial and limits you in regards to feinting, and punching.
In regards Hatton it's ironic that the creator of the 'crazy monkey' advocated clinching to neutralize the skills of a better opponent.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
