Record for most punches thrown in a round.

Well it's been a while since I played Fight night but I got back to it yesterday. I made a tall featherweight, textbook style will max stats and I wanted to see how much punches that I could throw in a round. I picked Roberto Duran (middleweight) as an opponent and I proceeded to hit him like a punching bag. In the first found I threw 311 punches at a 68% connect percentage. The second round was about 301, with round 3 at about 297, I kayod him with no special punches in round 4.

A typical boxing lesson from me is 511 thrown 366 landed..

That's not bad but I'm talking about 311 punches a freaken round.

Normally I just average just under 200 punches a round if I'm going for the KO and pushing the pace. If I want to finish him off quick I just need to parry a few of their punches and land a KO punch or a few haymakers now and then.

I've been messing with how much punches I could land max in one round. 311 is my record and I doubt that there's anyone out there that can beat it. My secret is of course a custom boxer, max stats, textbook style is okay it's not the fastest but I feel that I can get more punches out. My guy also has every piece of equipment that has speed written in on it and his punching speed is obviosly fast. I'll punch even when the stamina bar is drained but he's fast enough to keep going at it, and if my opponent parries a punch, or backs out of range that gives my guy some extra energy back.

I fight Duran because he doesn't back off as often as other guys. I tried it again getting about 308 punches in a round.

Threw 432 landed 115 26% was ali over the entire fight

That was over 6 3 minte rounds mate cos my cab guy is the guy i use to train with and i made him without a good chin body cuts or power so really hes just got good agilty speed stamina to carry me through the fights :P

2442 punches thrown @ 62% PCT overall. I knocked Duran down 4 times and he stayed down in the middle of round 9. I averaged around 295 punches per round around with the exception of the rounds where I knocked'em on his butt. My guy lossed the first 5 rounds by split decisions, but in the end I won by KO and was UD on the 3 judges cards.

I believe I dropped my guys stats for punching power to 10 points or nill to be fair.

How's them apples?

I just made myself a slickster, I'm going to give him the agility upgrade and practice parrying punches.

It's funny I don't have a problem hitting my opponent in a way so less of my shots get parried, but when it comes to parrying I'm only lucky 25% of the time.

I don't go for Ko punches and Haymakers unless I'm feeling cheap.

Fight Night 3 is too easy i don't play it no more on online or offline i would rather do sparring than play it personally lost interest in it.

I still find little things to amuse myself, like real boxing styles makes fights, including neat mismatches. For example I beat one of my 7' tall (8' tall if you count his hair), 280 lbs guy with a 5'3, 115 chubby and ugly midget. I had to pull out all the stops on that one.

On career mode I'll never retire my fighter, he's 59 years old 112-3 and still showing these young butts how it's done. It's Looney Toons compared to real boxing, but it's fun nonetheless fun.

I do the slickster thing but i dont usually do the parries and shoulder roll..

It just works really nice for leaning etc and the way you can move out the way and come back with a punch from the other side
