I think Bilbo you got carried away with this one here.
I'm only asking the question bro
I think stylistically Williams poses a problem Floyd has never had before.
The only real tall guy he's fought was Coralles who towered over him at 5 ft 11. Williams made Margarito look tiny Floyd will look like Eddie Chambers going up against Valuev if this fight happened!
I'd imagine Williams would outweigh him by 20 lbs come fight night plus he's just relentless with punch output.
If Floyd found a way to nullify Williams I'd be far more impressed than if he fought and beat Hatton or Mosely, fighters whose styles we already know he has the tools to deal with.
I really hope we can get to see this fight, and as long as Williams keeps winning there is every chance we will........
i thought so too..but williams' jab isn't a punishing jab and he'd get exploited everytime he throws it...also just like when hopkins fought the taller tarver...tarver was always open for the right hand because he had to punch low to find the shorter man...williams' already suffers defensively, because his punch out put serves as his defence..something else i noticed, williams legs arent that great he uses his punches to blind his opponent while he moves to other angles..when marg put the pressure on him he couldn't really rely on his legs to get away...as you can see that all of his weight is upper body, and floyd would really exploit him technically...but williams has a chance because he's huge and should fighting up there with pavlik and taylor..he came in tonight at 162...but if he doesn't have power at ww he certainly wouldn't hurt those guys...
