Amateur boxers have passbooks books that each fight is recorded in. Fights in national tournaments are better documented, but club fight arent kept track of aside from the passbook. I lost my USA pasbook a couple years ago after about 15 fights and the form that i had to fill out to get a new book asked to list my record. I could easily have put 15-0 and it would have went, course I put my real record. My point is theres eally no way of knowing for sure.

Apparently ODLH is 223-5 with 163 KO's. If that is true that is amazing. But 400-4? Thats almost unbelievable!

I think Joe Calzaghe lost 2 fights as an amateur out of about 120 odd

Pound for pound, Tszyu is one of the greatest modern boxers that lived.
If he had not done so many amateur fights and his shoulder, wrist etc hadn't all be completely shot by the time he was 30, he could have ruled for years and years.
His impressive fight for the gold against Vernon Forest on youtube is an awesome display of boxing.
