Criticisms

BitLord is based on the source code of version 0.56 of the BitComet core (current stable release is 1.1). Because of this, certain bugs that have been resolved in later versions of BitComet are still prevalent in BitLord. The only major changes are advertisements placed on the BitLord interface, and that BitComet's list of BitTorrent sites is replaced with a search box that leads to affiliates of BitLord. BitComet is also being criticized for its "selfish behavior" and is blocked by a lot of BitTorrent Trackers.

If you are into downloading movies, just grab UTorrent and when ever you want a movie, do a google and just type in for example:

Rocky III Torrent

and then you will see where they are on sites and then just pick where you want to download from read the reviews and pick the movie that best suits you.

I am not a movie buff but I do download movies on torrent from time to time.

download azureus and search for the shu mod and install that then never worry about your ratio again on private trackers

I use a really old one called bit tornado...anything else gets me into a world of shit with ports etc

Azureus is the best one. Easy to use, and easy to customize. I haven't tried the shu mod, I'll take a look.

Download azureus and it had shit all when i typed in movie names. It had official trailers and shit but that was all.

It's not shit, you just have no idea how to use it. This isn't like Limewire Snakey. Go to a bittorrent site to grab a title so that Azureus can download it.

Basically how bittorrent works is you go to a bittorrent site to download a file, then it's like grabbing a number that acts as an address and then you download the file in pieces. You can download anything to dvd's, TV episodes, software, you name it. IMO it's a lot better than Limewire as you can find a lot more stuff with it.

Personally I prefer Azureus classic, I don't like the new features because I feel like it gets in the way.

Demonoid.com is by far my favorite bittorrent site, but it's a private tracker. You can still go to other public bittorrent sites like isohunt, piratesbay, or mininova, there are many more. The boxing bittorrent trackers are excellent, just make sure you read the their rules, and keep your ratio in check or you're going to get kicked out.

Downloaded azureus again and it worked perfectly. Just typed in Superbad torrent into google, found one and downloaded it in 2hours.
