They will take hair from your armpits or pubic hair.

The reason I'm making that assumption is because just about every employer makes you test before you get a job these days.

Yes we have the cradit rating with most companies involved with Finance, but the Hair thing imo is a bit over the top? How long has this been in oparation? Saying that no doubt we will employ the same tests in the next few years.

I don't think I'd have ever gotten a job if they had those here in Canada. If you're sure you're going to fail, you could try telling them you can't let them do it for religious reasons. That would probably work better here than in the states though.

That is pretty extreme they use the hair test..they must be really paranoid. I think the majority of jobs will just use a urine test. There's lots of ways to get around the urine test.

I was thinking they were checking for nits or headlice which would sound totally like an English council scheme, although no doubt Sikhs or any other turban wearers would be excempt in case we offended them, even though those mangy types would be the ones most likely to be carrying an infestation of creepie crawlies on their scalps

Just because someone looks different to you does not mean that they are inferior to you or dirty. You probably have no Sikh friends but if you did, you would know they are clean and decent people just like everyone else.

Weed is the thing that stays in your system the longest.

If I recall, 3 months and your are clean from weed.

I had smoked weed just about 3 months before the test and I came up clean.

I had done coca and heroine about a month before the test and nothing happend.

Again, I don't know what they were testing for but I passed the test and got the job.
