Just in case no-one believes it,he admits to taking it. I have 2 problems with this:

1.) this statement-"I didn't know anything about that stuff," Mosley said. "It was something given to me, pushed up on me. I'm a health freak-type of guy. I like to have everything organic, natural." That's the biggest contradiction I've seen. How can a self admitted health freak not be aware of what he has taken/forced upon him?

2.) Just because it's Shane Mosley,an admittedly nice guy, people are saying,"oh it doesn't matter etc etc" BS. Imagine,if this was Mayweather or Judah. Both are asses but imagine of they had taken these drugs,"unkowningly". We know for a FACT that people on this forum would be ripping them to shreds. And that's a fact. I'm not one for double standards but nice guy or not,Mosley has gotten away with this too lightly.

I don't know man,he's admitted it himself so NO ONE can edeny he took them. His nice guy image is still genuine but I'm not letting it blind my thinking on the situation. I take back what I said about the timing,it's not as if it's something new,it's been an on going investigation.
Once again Gamo your comments are right on the money. Mosley has admitted he took steroids (supposedly unknowingly) and it should matter to boxing fans because that should change how he looked against Oscar and who knows who else. This brings up many questions: Is Shane not as fast as he has shown in the past? Is Shane really that strong? Does Shane really have great stamina as he has shown in the past?

Since Mosley is not a jerk like Bonds and McGuire, most people will surely forgive him (I still think the guy has class and respect for others). In fact, I hope his fight with Cotto goes on as scheduled. But his confession should change how fans view him as a boxer, not so much as a person (though cheaters are hard to respect in general).
