because that should change how he looked against Oscar and who knows who else. This brings up many questions: Is Shane not as fast as he has shown in the past? Is Shane really that strong? Does Shane really have great stamina as he has shown in the past?Originally Posted by Rican
Uhh he didn't look that good in the rematch Oscar should of won the rematch he almost doubled Mosley in punch output so if Mosley did take something before the rematch with Oscar it couldn't of been that good could it![]()
Let's not forget that Mosley, from round 9 on was able to outwork Oscar. Though Oscar is known for losing stamina as the fight goes on, Mosely seemed to have another gear. In fact, Mosley said: "I knew I hurt him. He never hurt me. I could have gone another 12 rounds."Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
OOh no!!!!!! shane is one of my favorites, but I did have suspecions about his body structure and his skin tecture. its similar to roy jones, theres just that different look when its all natural muscles without juice but then again there is that other look. Just something that doesn't look natural, maybe looks too constricted but moves unnatural and fast for constricted muscles.
Because he threw alot less thats why he had more stamina at the end ??Originally Posted by Rican

And you actually believe that ??
Well when Balco broke, you had to know some prominent boxers would come up,Barry Bonds can only do so much
At least Mosley looks like he could have used
But why in the hell is Toney juicing, but still looks like that?
We keep one of his Showtime posters on our refrigarator to remind us to watch what we eat
Good Point. Reguardless of whether he took them intentionally or not, that fight should have been ruled a NC. If I was Oscar I would have pursued that.Originally Posted by VanChilds

Let me amend my statements about Mosley from after pulling out the tape from the closet of Mosley-Oscar II. First, Oscar was breathing out of his mouth profusely from the ninth round on. Shane just looked so much fresher. Oscar threw roughly about the same amount of punches in the second half of the fight than he did in the first. The problem is, Mosley threw more than he did in the second half of the fight than in the first half. And Mosley's shots looked so much harder than Oscar's and his physique was much more impressive. Half of Oscar's punches were jabs and he pretty much averaged 10 punches more per round than Shane. Verdict? Inconclusive, though Shane did look fresher and stronger at 154 than Oscar.
To be fair though blacks generally have far more impressive physiques than white boxers. I mean Calzaghe, Hatton, De La Hoya and Pavlik are hardly specimans of toned muscularity are they?Originally Posted by Rican
I'd go so far as saying that James Toney aside Oscar has always had the least impressive physiquue of any elite fighter of the last 10 years.
He's just a barrel chested, thunderhipped man with no muscle and lots of love handles.
Cotto would be my 2007 fighter of the year if he pulls this one off (I like Pavlik winning it though). Neither man is going to knock the other out with one punch so its going to come down to who can break the other man down first. I still would like to give the edge to Mosley based on experience, better hand speed and, I think, greater natural athletic ability. Nevertheless Shane is one of those fighters who needs to hit someone right back when he gets hit (and he does get hit) and he likes to more or less stand right in front of his opponent and make them miss with head and body movement. Without question I think this is going to be a easy fight of the year candidate too.
Sports Illustrated wouldn't let this get out from the Cotto camp.
Mosley testified before the same federal grand jury as Bonds, Giambi and Marion Jones.
This shouldn't be surprising.
