I used to be a Wlad fan but I just don't see how a guy can get so much credit while fighting like a coward. That being said, I respect your opinion and you're a true fan backing him to the end like that (KlitchkoFan) I wish him well and I hope he stars fighting cleanly again. I used to be a big fan of his believe it or not.
So you think Wladimir should stand right in front of his opponents and take their shots to prove he is tough? He has learned from Manny Stewart how to fight without having to take big shots to the head, I would call that intelligent boxing, if you want guys to stand in front of each other throwing haymakers then the toughman competition would make you more happy I suppose.Anyone who takes a fight with Sam Peter is not a coward.Besides Wladimir already found out what it is like to stand right in front of a big puncher in Sanders and found out that wasn't the thing to do.
I'm not saying he should stand in front of anyone with his hands down. I'm saying that's not defence. Floyd uses defence, Winky uses defence, and thats just to name a few. I can't recall seeing either blatantly reaching out to grab an opponent or push off with both hands everytime the other guy gets close. I'm not convinced until he beats Peter without holding and pushing off. The reason I keep bringing up Peter is because that's the fight that made me stop being a fan of Wlad, and that is still the toughest fight out there for him.
