I doubt it he would have beaten any of them, certainly not the 1st three. How good is he ? I still don't think he's that great, good, but not great. He beat Kessler (over rated) Lacy (over rated). For me he needs to beat one of Pavlik, Taylor, Hopkins or Winky Wright
He never really beaten a really BADDDDD fighter IMO. A real marquee fighter.
Yawn I wondered how long that it would be before The Kessler is/was over rated song was gonna be sung...and for a moment there bud I thought you was saying Winky was one of the men that Joe should fight and beat to impress you....

No I just read it again AND YOU ACTUALY DO SUGGEST WINKY, are you mad bud....seriously tho, do you mean the same Winky that helped Lacy in sparring to prepare for the Calzaghe fight, too small too slow, not enough versatility to cope with Joe....Even Benn himself suggested that Joe would have topped them all had he fought in that era....Collins would not have coped with him, not quick enough or skillfull enough and he could not intimidate Joe either....

Like Mayweather, Joe could fight till he was a 100 years old and would still get people saying, well he only retired to avoid this or that fighter....it's opinions aint it bud, and thats life, but for my part I have to say that Joe has done all asked of him, he has been avoided far far more than he has ever avoided, and though it is only my opinion some of the fighters you mention as benchmarks by which Joe should be measured against are insulting to the New Undisputed Super Middle Weight & Old Age Slapper From Wales....

Joe Calzaghe is without doubt the real deal at super mid in his era......Fact, his stats, titles and longevity through his era are testament to that...

So love him or hate him....lets give him is dues, he's a bit special is Joe and really should be deserving now of all respect....

Long Live The King,
