I think i must be one of the guys who really gives Joe Calzaghe the most S.H.I.T , but i have to say he is a top fighter and would not disgrace himself againest any fighter .

Look clearly at what he has displayed. He has unbelievable hand speed, a great defence and clearly a granite chin and all backed up with plenty of power, especially earlier in his career. Even RJJ at his peak would at best have won a very close points decision. Toney?, you fucking idiot I like Calzaghe as a fighter, even if I believe he has been a bit slow to make the big fights, but one thing is clear to me, at 35 he has to be past his peak by a fair bit, yet still is able to win very well against somebody of Kessler's class.

He was the Ali of 168...No he was not at 168 a long time and that much is clear but during the time he was there Jones was truly amazing,, He lacked in no department, Speed, power, name it he had it and not just a bit of it.....

Maybe Lacy was a bit overrated but I don't think Kessler was, Calzaghe's just a great fighter. I'm not sure he'd beat Jones or Toney at 168 but that doesn't mean he isn't a great fighter.

Thats why I said it depends on the version of Toney that shows up....

James Toney is either one of the best fighters to ever step in the ring or one of the biggest disgraces...It all depends on him...The guy lost to fellows way below his caliber.....It is almost like Toney sometimes just does not care....He is a funny guy that Toney is.....

BTW when I speak of James Toney I speak of the REAL James Toney not the Heavyweight impersonator....But the Toney from 160-CW
