I dont think so, I dont favor someone because of their race, and I'm kind of sick of the generalization that white's want the white fighter to win over other races. Can someone set me straight or do I have a legit bitch? Im not calling you out LEGION, but are white people really hoping still? Look at the heavyweights, 3/4 of the champions are white.
What's racist about 'the great white hope'? Races SHOULD celebrate their differences imo. I see no difference in supporting a 'white' fighter than I do in supporting a national fighter.

Does it offend your sensabilities to talk in terms of an 'American hope', or a 'British hope'?

What's the difference? And I know people of all colours make up each nationality but that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is why is it different to root for someone based on nationality rather than race?

Neither is racist in my mind.
