    Default Most Un-Marketable Champion Ever

I didn't include guys like Ruiz because he wasn't the recognized champion.

Tarver. A guy who KO's RJJ should be a legend, but everyone hates him.

Vernon Forrest seemed pretty damn lame. That guy had zero personality.

Gotta be Holmes, they introduced him first in his fight with Cooney, that is such a slap in the face. They were praying for Cooney to win that fight.

I'll go with Cory Spinks. How do you even promote his ass? "Come see Cory run."

Taylor didn't seem to marketable, nor does Pavlik. Unless you like the Great White Hope thing. I don't know, I'll leave it to you guys.

I think if Pavlik keeps KOing guys his popularity will rise.

There is tons marketable about both Pavlik and Taylor.

You don't need a big bark to sell something. Look at Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Both have great stories and both pretty much went from rags to riches and both have huge local followings. If I could put any fight on primetime TV, it would have been that one.

I don't get how Wright wasn't marketable. Maybe just because he didn't get hit and didn't have much power.

You may be right, but Brady and Manning are on t.v. 24/7, whether it's sports channels or commercials or games every week. Pavlik seems like he'd be hard to market as he's so quiet and unassuming. Like I said, I don't really know so maybe I should shut up before I get owned again

We are in the year 2007 and people are still saying "the Great White hope" that shit is racist if you ask me. Its like saying white people cant fight...am I tripping on this? Its like white people can only root for a white guy to win? I dont think so, I dont favor someone because of their race, and I'm kind of sick of the generalization that white's want the white fighter to win over other races. Can someone set me straight or do I have a legit bitch? Im not calling you out LEGION, but are white people really hoping still? Look at the heavyweights, 3/4 of the champions are white.
