Anyone would think Cortez committed a crime, Cortez was warning both men, Hatton had a point deducted for hitting Mayweather twice in the back of the head, and that was fair to take a point away. Hatton was working plenty on the inside and also Hatton made it a rough untidy fight, which Hatton wanted to do to get Mayweather off his rhythm Mayweather was just better on the inside than what Hatton expected. Am i missing something here folks ?? because i didn't think Cortez's refereeing was bad at all.
Like I said I don't know if Hatton would have won, becuase in all fairness he was very much in the fight until even round 7 or 8 but having the point deducted and having to fight the ref as well most definately frustrated Hatton, Hatton's work could have been alot better and subtle I think Hatton addmitted after he didn't stick to his original plan.
You must be joking Mayweather was easily beating Hatton, i don't know what fight you was watching because Hatton got outclassed throughout most of the fight.
Yes he has some good names on his CV, and he is definately one of the best in the modern era but that's about it.
What do you mean thats it ?? isn't that was what all boxers want to achieve ?? to be the best of there era and have good names on there record ??
