Which reminds me of another HUGE upset this year.
Agbeko over Perez.
Lennox was completely robbed in the first fight. But I did feel Evander won the second by a very slim margin. I don't remember exactly what round it was in the second fight, but didn't Evander have Lennox in trouble of falling at some point in the fight?
I think it was 7th round if i remember right, he hurt Lewis with two big left hooks ??Originally Posted by caleoh12

And it pains me to say, he lost that first fight (convincingly) However, i think they made up for it when lewis got the decision on the rematch.
IMHO
I felt he won by a fair margin in the first one and the next time they fought i felt Lewis took it afain closer but Lewis to me won no question.
How many people have to say they thought he won the second fight to make you realize that yes someone actually thinks he won the second fightOriginally Posted by gudnite vienna

You don't think the second one was a close fight? Most people do, whether they thought Lewis or Holyfield won. I don't know anybody that thought Holyfield won the first one.
Love Evander But 1st fightwas not even close At All.Lewis earned it.Lewis really killed him to the body in 5th.Off the canvas
That being said I am One who believed Holyfield edged It In second...If anything THAT one closer to a draw.
I had Lewis winning, but one can understand that Evander is one popular guy and even judges are human (Although they do make some monstorous decisions!!!)

I remember watching the second fight and thinking afterwards that had it not been for the fact of the obvious robbery in the first fight Holyfield maybe deserved a decision.
Don't think there was any judge who would have dared give Holyfield a close decision victory.
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
You know what makes be laugh is that Holyfield actually done a lot better in 2nd fight, but the judges had it more wide than they did in 1st fight even though Holyfield won only 3 or 4 rounds at max in the 1st meeting.Originally Posted by Mark TKO
I alwais find it so ridiculous when you see a robbery or controvesial scoring in favor of one fighter in the first fight and then to make up for it they robb the other guy on the seccond fight.
Holifield - Lewis 1 & 2 I still think Lewis won the seccond one but it was extreemly close and a draw would be justifiable though probably unforgivable given the circumstances.
Mosley - DLH 1 & 2 How the hell was that first fight a split decision, I'll never know, but the seccond one clearly topped it on bad scoring. Unanimous decision for Mosley? Come on.
Morales - Barrera 1 & 2 I still think the judges got confussed and switched the names of the fighters in both these fights. Barrera won the first one and Morales won the seccond one.
My mate scored it a draw the 1st Lewis Holyfield fight got a right bollicking![]()
