    Default Lewis Holyfield I.

Just re watched this fight, although Lennox is one of my all time fave fighters i tried to watch and score this fight this time as a neutral, and this has to be up there with the biggest robberies in the sports history, i remember being shocked watching it the first time round, but I found it hard to give Evander more than 2 rounds and one judge scored it a draw and another by 2 points for Evander, Lennox threw and landed twice as many punches, made for a better rematch though i suppose, sorry for bringing up old news guys but with rewatching and not being round here the first time had to post this.

It's bizarre how judges who get it so wrong aren't taken out of the game for good, the woman who scored it for EH was judging in a recent big fight, but I can't remember which one.

You can understand close decisions when the rounds are open to interpretation, but that decision was a complete farce, and sadly there have been many other examples. I don't know why these judges who get it so blatantly wrong aren't charged with fraud since their are financial repurcussions from the results.

For the same reasons a hockey player who slashes another with his stick isn't charged with assault. They're allowed to police themselves but in the sport of boxing there aren't any real repercussions.

Why should it be ?? Holyfield might of done enough in rematch, in some people's eyes nothing wrong in that 2nd fight was close.

I had Lewis clear winner by 3 rounds in there 1st meeting, there is no way on earth Holyfield got a draw. Punchstats were landslide, Lewis landed 300+ punches and Holyfield only landed 100+ punches.

This decision ranks up there with.

Jose Luis Ramirez vs Pernell Whitaker 1
Azumah Nelson vs Jeff Fenech 1
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Pernell Whitaker
Thomas Hearns vs Sugar ray Leonard 2
    James Toney vs Dave Tiberi
Michael Spinks vs Larry Holmes 2

    Etc.

Here are my opinions on robberys:

The Worst: Silverio Ortiz vs. David Diaz
Really Bad: Miguel A. Huerta vs. Almazbek Raymkulov
Bad: Pernell Whitaker vs. Jose L. Ramirez I
Owful: Lennox Lewis vs. Evander Holyfield I
Shit: Jose Santa Cruz vs. Joel Casamayor (For LG)

It's the gambling part I was referring to about repurcussions, but in all honesty I don't give a shit about them.

Still, there should be some sort of vetting of them, I'd love the job, get ringside seats for huge fights and get a little cash as well, I doubt most of the guys on this board would have got it as wrong as that Eugenia Williams.

I had Evander winning the second match . I give credit to the fighter willing to risk losing in order to win. the guy making the fight was Evander Holyfield. Lewis was a very smart fighter, but at times was a bit too cautious .
