Like Legion says he does appear to be slower than he used to be. I think mainly he used to throw punches, but now he is turning into his punches for more power, but less speed.

I just hope he lasts a while. Last year he had three big wars and absorbed a lot of punishment along with dishing it out. Guys like him come along rarely and usually have a very short prime.

Now that he is on top, if he could fine tune his defense a little better, he might treat us to more great fights over the next few years.
Pavlik in the amateurs was a good boxer and actually used speed more instead of power. And if you see his early fights he could put combos together very quickly and very well. And he looked very impressive you should check out his 1st pro fight he looks like a complete pro.
He seems more gangly now, longer and taller than 5-7 years ago. Obviously he still had some growing to do with his body, but he almost doesn't look to fight the same or even look the same guy back then as he does now. Seemed he was better defensively back in the day also, or at least not trying to take big shots to give them.
