Here is a tip...leave the daddy long legs alone if you have a lot of them....other spiders and even other bugs such as ants or mesquitos will stay away as much as possible because the daddy long legs feed off of them
We have a lot of daddly long legs as well. I didn't mention them as I didn't think America or UK has them.. That was what I tried to kill originally behind my bed, but as soon as I'd chased him away, all the baby white tails came running out... So either they were running scared as well, or they were ready to party after I got rid of their enemy.....

I'm not actually particularly scared of those.. As i've heard the don't bite and aren't dangerous,,, and you can barely even call them a spider when you think of how the look compared to the ones I AM scared of... So if I see a daddy long legs around the house I will leave them alone.. They are always behind my bed and probably for days or weeks before I actually notice them there, so i'm sure they do no harm...

AND HOPEFULLY, they are keeping away some more annoying spiders.... But I also read that once white tails get a little bigger, they don't actually build webs. They just hide in clothes or carpet and things, and hunt their prey, which is little insects and other little spiders.. So maybe then the tide's will turn on the daddy long legs... But i'm taking your advice and keeping the daddy long legs around whenever possible...

Bikersk, my girlfriend said the same thing... Well, she said i'm supposed to be a tough boxer,,,, but my support was that on my boxing forum they are all scared as well.. It has to be some sort of survival instinct that we have no control of..
