I don't know if you are talking to Ice or me. But if you look at my post I never said Mosley was well passed it or was not a top fighter anymore. All I meant was the only reason Mosley risked a fight with Wright was because he was coming out of losses and less than great performances.

I think both Mosley and Tito underestimated Wright at the time.... Not that that influenced their performace in the fight but I think it influenced their decision to fight him. And if they had not done so, they would probably not bother fighting him and would've fought some other tune up before they fought eachother, which is what they wanted to do in the first place.

At the time Mosley was concidered the legit champion for getting that decision against Oscar and Wright was not near a big enough name. But at that time Tito wanted to come back and some shmuck decided that the two current champions would have to fight for the right to fight the former undisputed champion of the 154 division. Mosley could've and should've said no and side stepped Wright but didn't. Props for him but like I said, he underestimated Wright.

Had it not been for those events Wright would most likely remain in obscurity for some years more and maybe never made it to the top.
