Collazo was virtually unknown by most boxing fans at the time, he was considered to be an easy victory for Hatton at Hatton's new weight, most people were predicting a KO early for Hatton, just like Mitchell was supposed to be an easy victory for Mayweather at Mayweather's new weight, the only difference is at least Mitchell had a name and at least Mayweather beat him in impressive fashion, where as Hatton didn't.

And I always thought Hatton could beat PBF but ask Ono, I sent him a PM saying I feel PBF could win or something along the lines of that so I was not 100% adamant Hatton would win as that would be stupid considering he is fighting Floyd Mayweather, going to HIS preffered weight and HIS backyard.

These *people* who are saying Mayweather is ducking Cotto, have no evidence to back there claims up, its there opinion and until they can back it up with solid evidence which i haven't seen yet its only an opinion who no substance behind it. The reason Mayweather is taking the ODLH fight is because he is getting a ton of money much more money than he will get for a Cotto fight, plus it will be much bigger PPV. Just look at the PPV ratings Cotto got for his last few fights, then look at what Mayweather vs ODLH got on the PPV ratings it was one of the biggest ever, theres a big difference. Now i may not agree with it but it is good business sense, and if i was in Mayweather's shoes i would probably do the same.

If you were Hatton after a crushing KO loss would you take on Witter ATM who is full of confidence and has an awkward style ?? I doubt it.

I have already said Hatton deserves a confidence booster first, but if Witter beats Hopkins and Hatton has his confidence booster fight. If he then doesn't fight Witter that is going to raise a lot of question's and ditto with Mayweather as well.

Actually yes. 154 is where he had the most pop. Manfredo had been fighting 10 round fights when he dropped down to fighting those friggin 5 rounders... he was fighting a 5 round fight at a ten round pace. His bad

Your high as a kite if you think Floyd is ducking Williams and Cotto.. The same Cotto who has never beaten a world champ for a title or the same Cotto that has NEVER beaten a elite fighter in his prime..

Williams fought Margarito and thats it... I think Williams has tremendous upside, but I'm yet to hear Williams or Cotto along with there promoters openly call out Floyd and try to make a fight.. Besides at this juncture the closest those guys will get to Floyd depends on if he hires either to be his cleaning lady... Rivera won a vacant title big difference he was never that good, the fact is hardly anyone on this forum had heard of Collazo, most people were predicting a quick easy KO win for Hatton, it was supposed to be gimme fight for Hatton to win an easy title off an unknown opponent, but things didn't work out as planned. I already know Hatton has had problems with southpaws since he was an amateur, but regardless he was the big favorite and its easy to say that Collazo was a dangerous well known opponent with hindsight, but the fact is most boxing fans did not see it that way at all at the time including me. This is going way off subject i don't even know how this subject got brought up ?? one last thing Mitchell even though he was shot was a much more well known name that Collazo was and thats a fact.

Yes it is unfair because your looking back with hindsight, what you are saying now is nothing like what you was saying before the fight, you was predicting that Hatton would win and would give Mayweather his toughest fight of his career. I could do the same with any fight like Jones vs Tarver 2 i can look back and say *yes looking back i knew Tarver would KO Jones* but that would be BS because i didn't say anything of the sort before the fight. Thats what every boxer fights for Lee *Money* its good business sense. Mayweather will make a ton of money beating ODLH your telling me you wouldn't take a rematch with a guy you already beat for all that cash ?? because i know i would. Cotto has not that done well on the PPV ratings, Mayweather is the much bigger draw, Mayweather is just waiting for the right opportunity the fight Cotto he is waiting until Cotto makes more of a name for himself, guarantee you now that Cotto vs Mayweather will happen at the start of 2009.
