Cool Re: JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ VS MANNY PACQUIAO II

PacBeast will be back come March 15, just like the first mab fight and the third eric match. total annihilation!

NOTICE, for the first time in a long while. No haters or doubters coming on here trying to say pac is out of focus. Since he murdered mab thats where their hopes been at, at an unfocus pac coming into a fight.

Well here comes the PAIN, pac is in total training mode. Shiver, pachaters SHIVER! lol

Fred Roach is doing a good job making Pac's training routine strictly behind close door @ the WCG.

Everything suggests I should go for Marquez, but I'm not going to choose against Pac again.

I agree with you, that is why I have been passive on the topic. Just waiting for the fight.

I think Manny gets a TKO win in the rematch. Marquez is aging and not looked spectacular in the ring to me. Pacquiao has only improved since the first fight and has more to offer up this time.
TKO by 8 is my call.

I am kind of confused some reports say PAc is 140 & JMM is currently 133. Then I hear Pac is training like he never has !! It seems like excuses are set in place in the event of a JMM upset !!

Here is a summary of Pac's past fight since JMM 1. I fail to see how Pac has improved his boxing skills except on his the win - loss record. Pac has over powered under mannned opponents with sheer power but by no means has he done so out boxing them. Why else is Pac supposedly training like he never has? Because he gives JMM nore credit/respect than his nuthuggers.

    Summary:
The key is who adapts to each other style: Neither boxer has really improved drastically since their 1st meeting. Each has a loss.

Marco Antonio Barrera - A non competitive bout where MAB basically fought to finish on his feet.

Jorge Solis, - Untested boxer who moved up in weight to fight Pac. Way too small and not a legitimate challenger / threat. Has failed to fight any real tough fighters since Pac fight. Either lost his Juevos or never had any.

Erik Morales - Aged and overweight, worn out and entered their 3rd fight coming off 2 consecutive ass kickings at the hands of Rahim and PAC. Rahim went on to get destroyed by Juan Diaz.

Oscar Larios , Moved up in weight to fight Pac. Too small and not a legitimate challenger / threat. Most recently destroyed by Jorge Linares.

Hector Velazquez - Untested boxer who moved up in weight to fight Pac. Way too small and not a legitimate challenger / threat. Has failed to fight any real tough fighters since Pac fight. Either lost his Juevos or never had any.

Erik Morales, - Aged, overweight, worn out. Entered their 2nd fight coming off a huge ass kicking at the hands of Rahim.

Fahsan 3K Battery - lol .... has fought last 12 of 13 opponents in Thailand vs Thailanders. The lone non Thailander was in a recent bout in Canada where he lost a UD to Steve Molitor. 26 (KO 10) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 26

Golden Boy Promotions, Inc. (GBP) has officially announced that tickets for "The Dream Match" welterweight super bout between Manny Pacquiao and Oscar de Hoya will be sold to fans starting September 24.

"Tickets to 'The Dream Match' -- the 12-round welterweight super fight between six-division world champion Oscar de la Hoya and boxing's No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao -- will go on sale this Wednesday, September 24 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT," GBP told abs-cbnNEWS.com in an e-mail Saturday.

The e-mail confirmed an earlier message from GBP's Monica Sears that an announcement for tickets for the super bout in Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 6 will be released later in the week.

GBP said tickets are priced at $1,500, $1,000, $750, $500, $250, $150, excluding applicable taxes and service charges.

However, the promotions firm that is also owned by de la Hoya clarified that, "ticket sales are limited to two (2) per person at each price level with a total ticket limit of four (4) per person."

It said tickets will be available at Ticketmaster's phone service and Web site and at MGM Grand's Web site (Las Vegas - Entertainment - Hotel - Resort - Casinos - Vacation : MGM Grand Hotel & Casino). No tickets will be sold at the fight venue or any other Ticketmaster outlets, it added.

On September 15, Pacquiao's American promoter, Top Rank , Inc., said it will start selling tickets after September 24 for the $150-$1,500 price range.

"Tickets will not go on sale before Wednesday, September 24th," the Top Rank Web site said.

Top Rank clarified that the price categories mentioned are not inclusive of all the seats at the arena.

"Top Rank will not be receiving all of the price categories due to high demand of this fight," it said.

The firm said that interested parties may contact the MGM Grand Garden Arena for more information.

    $26,000-seat

On Tuesday, at least one Internet site started selling tickets for the December 6 blockbuster clash.

Impulse Tickets (ImpulseTickets.com - #1 Source for Premium Tickets) announced on its Web site that tickets for the Pacquiao-de la Hoya fight card are now on sale. Prices range from $520 each up to $26,250.

Seats offered for $26,250 do have their perks since these will be nearest to the ring and the action.

According to the layout of the arena provided by the Internet seller, the lower the price of the ticket, the farther the fan will be from the center and the ring itself.

How to get hold of tickets

Fight fans have started looking for ways to get hold of tickets for the December 6 clash between the international boxing superstar and today's best pound-for-pound knockout artist.

Last week, Manila-based sports analyst and ringside commentator Ronnie Nathanielsz said he received inquiries on where and when tickets to the Pacquiao-de la Hoya fight will go on sale.

One of those looking for fight tickets was Fil-Am tennis star Cecil Mamiit.

In an e-mail, Mamiit told Nathanielsz, ā€œI’m in search for some tickets for the fight. I have a group of friends and family planning a trip to see the fight and we really would love to get hold of tickets to make the trip worth it. We are willing to pay a reasonable price.ā€

Mamiit said he would appreciate the help and suggestions on how he can get hold of tickets for the fight.
