Off the 2 Ill go with Enzo heres why. Technicaly David hasnt improved in a long time hes one dimensional cant fight of the back foot when hes had to theres been a problem, which has nothing to do with weight its happened all his career.certainly against Carl. Hes been matched very carefully against slow footed fighters without a Jab. Now another reason Frank Warren dont drop to many Bollocks and hes got a good matchmaker in Dean Powell who has matched David in the past who if Enzo gets beat wont be the flavour of the Month. Ive probably given Enzo the kiss of death but somehow I dont think so.

I say haye by KO/TKO between rounds 5 and 9 but i wouldnt rule out an Enxo win either.

In the sense that although the title is 'Bombs Always' insinuating that these are the two hardest punchers in the cruiserweight division (which they most likely are) I feel this fight will be won, not necessarily, by the hardest puncher, but by the fighter who can take the hardest punch. The strange thing about Haye is that although skill for skill he wins clearly against Maccarinelli. I feel that you don't have to be that good to beat him. By ‘That good’ I mean you don't have to be that skilful or have great hand speed or great foot work. Nope, what you need to have is resilience and a great chin the ability to keep coming back and throwing punches. Carl Thompson did not KO Haye, he just stuck around for long enough to withstand Haye's assault and then when Haye got dispirited and tired he stopped him and even the stoppage wasn't very conclusive as Thompson never hurt or knocked down Haye. Haye just had, had enough.

Maccarinelli on the other hand, is unknown in my opinion. Haye has the form and the credentials and Maccarinelli could get exposed in this fight, but my gut feeling is that Maccarinelli will win, not because he the better boxer or has more power, I just think he'll stick around long enough for Haye to tire and I'm more confident of Maccarinelli’s chin than I am Haye's and it's the who has the greater chin rather than who has the greater bombs which will decide this fight.
Nice post mate - and I pretty much agree. Haye has to get Enzo out of there early or he is gonna feel the affects of being weight drained and get warn down and stopped!

although i do think haye will beat enzo i wouldnt put haye as an overwhelming favourite as both are fantastic punchers and have suspect chins.

I don't even understand what this means. Taken literally it means that he punches at the same speed as a 30 mph van which means his punches are thrown at 30 mph which I'm not sure is what you meant?

If you are talking about power then its simply absurd and another example that people will believe anything if a scientist says it.

Ask yourself this. Which would you rather have to endure, an Enzo Maccerinelli punch flush on the jaw, OR being hit by a van at 30 mph.?

If you think the two are in any way comparable then you would literally believe anything that scientists told you.

It does sound stupid, but it actually makes perfect sense if you think about it in the right way. The way punching power is measured conventionally is by PSI. Pounds( or whatever) of pressure per square inch. So the fact that Enzo's power PSI is equal to a van travelling 30km/h is not ridiculous at all. Just think of it as if Enzo's fist were the size of a transit bus, yet he gave up nothing to achieve that size and punched with the same speed, and leverage.. Or if it's easier, imagine the bag that measured the impact being big enough so that the bus only connected on a small surface area of the bag, relative to the area of a normal bag that your fist would connect with.

Thanks for backing me up on this and it is true and the fact Dildo argued against it says everything ...

Sven Ottke did the same tests and was proven to punch with the same force as a fully laden milkfloat.

Ok, as I'm going to the fight I pretty much have to make a prediction.

I feel torn on this one. I like both guys, but I'm going in support of Haye. My feeling has always been that on any given day Haye would spark Enzo flat out. My concern though is that Enzo makes the weight comfortably, but it's clear that Haye looks gaunt at the weight nowadays. I guarantee that if this fight had been made at the 215lbs catchweight Haye wanted, Enzo would get raped. It's much closer now though. I've got my fears, but I think Haye can spark him before he gets himself in trouble. For your career though Haye, please make this the last fight at Cruiser, the Heavyweight division is awaitin'!

    Haye easily imo.

I don't think Enzo is in the same class as Haye. The Bermondsey boy will knock Enzo out.

And he did so in Style!!!!
Enzo looked terrified on the way to the ring i thought and was totally in awe of Haye imo.
Haye just sat on his back foot shaking his right hand waiting for Enzo to drop his hands the WHACK!!
What a right hand he landed and Enzo never recovered and back peddled and got smashed twice again and turned into an infant in a playpen!
Haye will storm through the shit Heavy division like a knife through butter and bring those belts back to London.
I see nothing at Heavyweight to stand in his way at all,it all hinges on if he can take a Klitschko sized shot and come through it.
