The home of Peter Manfredo and from the smallest state in the US
I know my stuff, JK.![]()
What's it like up there ?? I've only ever been to NY and FL in America.
haha very good!
many people here in the US don't even know what Rhode Island is! They always reply, "What did you say? Long Island?" (long island is in NY).
Anyway, Where in NY did you visit? If it was any type of suberb, meaning not in the city, but not too far north of the city, then it's pretty similar to where i'm from.. My girlfriend is from NY, she lives about an hour and 15 North of the city, and her town is very similar to mine..
RI is pretty cool though, if you can get over the fact that you're always going to run into people you know.. I live about 10-15 from Providence, which seems close, but i don't live a "city" lifestyle.. It's all suburban here for the most part.. Few small rural towns, and of course down south we have the beaches and some real nice areas.. can't complain for a small state.
In NY we stayed in Manhattan but visited Brooklyn, Bronx and got the ferry to Staten Island (If that's how you spell it), great place and back home everyone states how it would be there dream to visit NYC seriousley.
Sound like RI is a cool place, I live North Liverpool so like you not "city" lifestyle and I've have always wanted to do a full tour of the US as it's a place I'm interested in living when I'm older, my family and I are going to Las Vegas to stay at the Mandalay Bay next year once I finish college and I can't wait.
that's great.. yeah, Manhattan is definitely a good day trip, but i'd never want to live in the midst of all of that chaos.. There is always something to do in the city.. I've never been to Staten Island, but i've been to Long Island and I loved it.. We had this killer hotel that was real comfortable, and the beach was about 30 steps out the front door of your room.. I think RI is cool simply because of the diversity of environment in such a small place.. As i said you have a few rural towns, then you have Providence the city, and then you have the beach area if you want a quick getaway.
How is North Liverpool though.. like how densely populated is it.. Cause RI is deceiving because it's small, but it's one of the top (i think 2 or 3) states in the US as far as being densely populated goes.. a TON of people in this small state so the roads are often full of cars.
