I've been recieved well here and I'm female. I think there are a couple of reasons you might not have gotten the response you expected:

1) You make it obvious that you know you're sexy - should theoretically be ok and i'm trying to think about why it doesn't go down well and I don't know but it doesn't.

2) being a ring girl is ok but it doesn't make you a boxer as insinutated by your username. It shouldn't matter really since many of the guys have names saying they're a famous boxer or the best ever etc etc but maybe it does.

3) "what i don't know about boxing aint worth knowing" most guys who start of with statements like that get grilled too.

really I think you are a genuine fan and you should be allowed to enjoy the forum but if i were you I'd get another username and start again because it'll be easier than changing the perception of dumb bimbo / practical joke made by some guy that many of them have of you now.

nice suggestion sharla but I think sexyboxer will do fine with her name. At least she's quite famous now. I started like that, then I matured and learned some lessons about respect,though I suffered a not so good cc and sc ratio.

it's good to have some interesting people in this site. it makes the site more exciting to visit and to read.

Well, I hope she stays and becomes a part of the furniture like some of the regulars here..... And look forward to a lot of healthy heated discussions on boxing and anything else that the subjects get on too...



But listen S.boxer, Saddo has had enough changes rocking it's foundations over the past month,,, and you've definetly come in adn made an impact...
But if you love boxing, then absolutley rest assured this is the best boxing forum on the net.... by a mile... If you hang around past the first few days,,, it'll earn you a lot of respect....
All the guys here know their shit,,, and aren't afraid to argue if they don't agree with you... Get used to that and you'll be fine!

Reasons why alot of people think your a man..well we had one guy who was pretending to be a guy from his school who claimed to be a boxer and everything and turned out he barely even knew the guy he was acting as...yeah kinda queer. And we have also had lots of people claiming to women who turn out to be men after we send steelie in to check them out. Cheers to you Sharla, I've been wanting to comment all day on this, but didn't want to turn it into a catfight for the guys to enjoy.

I am new here, and I am a woman, and I have been welcomed very nicely by everyone. I have even more of a reason for some members here to want to give me a hard time since I am best friends with someone that really pisses some members off, and knows how to push their buttons. But because I have been nothing but respectful, and I haven't started threads to complain, or to get up into peoples faces, they have received me well.

Is this your first forum sexyboxer? If not, you should know by now that you have to earn respect, to get respect. So quit complaining, and giving attitude, because that will only bring you more disrespect, and attention that you don't want.

Joining a forum with a number of attempts to sell boxing DVDs, but the size of the collection is not really matched by the same level of boxing knowledge ..... calling oneself 'sexyboxer', posting pictures quite quickly and easily, ending posts with lots if 'xxx' kisses, asking for people to go on webcam or email you, crap spelling on your posts.

There are quite a few women on here who are knowledgeable and intelligent. They don't get a hard time beacause they've earned respect and it doesn't matter that they are women, makes no difference, but you seem to want it to be your most salient point.

It's just plain annoying ....... maybe you are a really nice person and genuine and everythinh, but no wonder people gave you a hard time.
