but back to the thread question. i always thought taylor was a big middleweight, always saw him as a more of a super middleweight. but light heavy? hmmmmmm im not sure cause he doesnt even have much power these days even at middleweight?

UNFORTUNATELY, i feel if taylor doesnt start knocking out some big names he wont ever get the respect he should have.
people get so pissed whenever he wins a decision its like they are ready to write him off already?

I think that's a good point on the punching power.. Moving up in weight, you have to take some assets with you, and not just the extra weight... And it feels at the moment he has to do a lot of work to accumulate damage on his opponents... Which could also be a contributor to his fading during later rounds..
That being said though, it wouldn't be unheard of and their could be some sensible matchups.. But I think their is a lot more for activity where he is now... Unless he feels he's staled out at Middleweight and needs a change..
