yea floyd is no Tyson, when tyson was in wwe his presence alone hyped up the crowd. WWE don't seem to really know who the hell floyd is, and it looks pretty damn stupid how small floyd is and how big everyone else is around him trying to hold him back. Yea right like his really piss off and want to go toe to toe with someone twice or trice as big as him the big show.

    bad publicity stunt imo!

I don't actually mind braggarts, especially when they'e fighters who can back it up in the ring. To move up the weights and do what he's doing means he's in a special category and he has a lot to brag about. And you can't blame him for being an arse in his twenties. He may well smarten up in his thirties and realise that he should have taken Sugar Ray Leonard's "just smile, act humble and keep winning" advice for his career. He'll eventually realise how many dollars acting like he does cost him.

But he's a flawed human being, so what. I'm glad I didn't have the media coverage in my twenties that Floyd has had because I might look a lot worse to you than the lovely guy you know me to be.

Good point, I know I have no right to judge anyone, if you look at some of the shit I've done in my day....I'm glad my friends weren't the types to carry cameras.

Nah he is just promoting. You will see why when Mayweather/DLH 2 is on. You will see a bunch of people in the audience holding up signs while wearing 3:16 caps and Undertaker T-Shirts.

In the past I've not been a supporter of Floyd or his actions. In fact on numerous occassions I've been put down as a Floyd hater. However, I will once again state the obvious. Floyd is the best fighter in boxing at the moment.

Do you guys not find it sad that he shows up at an event such as this, only for people to question who it is? Although I can't say that I admire him, I will say that Floyd is correct to attempt to publicise himself and enhance his reputation. He is entitled to all the fame, glamour and accolades that are howered upon him now and I wish him luck in whatever he does.

However, here's my primary angle. Everything Floyd does, boxing does. If the general public see a young flashy healthy, superbly skilled champion as the face of boxing they may be attracted no?

I've felt for a while that Floyd is desperate to copy the fame of Oscar. He spent his whole career chasing a fight with DLH. He's gone up the weights like DLH. he wants to promote like DLH. He makes good business decisions like DLH. the only thing he doesn't have is the popularity. So he goes on a fixed fight show as a good guy. I bet he's getting paid a shit load of money by McMahon for this.

I agree Donny. I don't see anything wrong with Floyd appearing on WWE.

I remember title of the first article I read about it was "Mayweather continues crossover mainstream appeal" or something along those lines.

I never had any interest in WWE, but enough people out there do. It is also a market which buys tickets and purchases PPV's...just like boxing. This was not a rushed decision by Mayweather, it was well thought out and he will reap many benefits from it.

He did the same thing by appearing on Dancing with the Stars (which hit a demographic completely outside of the typically boxing fan)

What is good for the P4P champ is good for the sport. I bet a lot of people have shown interest in Mayweather fights (whether they like him or not) over the past year that have never had any interest in boxing in the past.

I just watched the whole bit, it was so STUPID! lol. Floyd acts all scared, then leaves the ring with his hood up like a little thug, then runs back in and says "I accept your challenge" and they are supposed to fight or some shit, most definately at Wrestlemania in a gimmick match.

Holyfield has done shit like this and he no doubt is known for being a classy guy, but I ask myself would Roy Jones or Sugar Rey Leonard have done this when they were P4P kings? I think not.

You ever think Floyd may want to do something to make money other then boxing? Heaven forbid that he does something that his kids got him into. His kids actually got him into wrestling and he's doing this for them giving them something more then the "THERE'S ONLY OOOOONE MAYWEATHER" bad guy they see on boxing shows. Giving them a hero-like person that he can pull off on a wrestling show is something to be smiled at not sneered at. But as always people will hate Mayweather no matter what he does.

I must admit you're right. Floyd is not that big to join WWE.

As much as I dislike Floyd, I think he will be good for the sport. I think he and Goldie will do great things in the future and I hope this is the case.

Why do I dislike Floyd again so much?

Some dude posted a video of all the elbows Floyd landed against Hatton and it was a crying shame that someone who claims to be the p4p king would resort to such measures.

I was going to make the video myself but I got frustrated because there were so many of them and Cortez let it go on and on and on and I just gave up. I am glad it was some one else who made the video and not me.

Sure Cortez warned the little c0ckroach about the elbows but give me a break there were way too many of them. I will upload the video this dude made, later tonight when I have time.

If he ever gets in the ring with Floyd not only will Cotto be throwing low blows and kidney shots, he will also be using his elbows and knees
