Nah he is just promoting. You will see why when Mayweather/DLH 2 is on. You will see a bunch of people in the audience holding up signs while wearing 3:16 caps and Undertaker T-Shirts.

In the past I've not been a supporter of Floyd or his actions. In fact on numerous occassions I've been put down as a Floyd hater. However, I will once again state the obvious. Floyd is the best fighter in boxing at the moment.
Do you guys not find it sad that he shows up at an event such as this, only for people to question who it is? Although I can't say that I admire him, I will say that Floyd is correct to attempt to publicise himself and enhance his reputation. He is entitled to all the fame, glamour and accolades that are howered upon him now and I wish him luck in whatever he does.
However, here's my primary angle. Everything Floyd does, boxing does. If the general public see a young flashy healthy, superbly skilled champion as the face of boxing they may be attracted no?

I've felt for a while that Floyd is desperate to copy the fame of Oscar. He spent his whole career chasing a fight with DLH. He's gone up the weights like DLH. he wants to promote like DLH. He makes good business decisions like DLH. the only thing he doesn't have is the popularity. So he goes on a fixed fight show as a good guy. I bet he's getting paid a shit load of money by McMahon for this.

....all this yet something about him pops up here damn near everyday. I for one am tired of hearing non boxing stories about him everyday, he must hate being so unpopular..yea he appears so miserable especially when he logs in and see's how bad he being talked about here. C'mon now the hating is really starting to get riddiculous. The man didn't even fight this weekend yet count the amount of threads here with his name in it.
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
at the part when mayweather is hitting big show he actually connects with the punches and has broke his nose lol.
type big show broken nose into youtube and click the top one, at the end there is a slow motion replay and you see the shots land. I researched it on the internet and he has actually got a broken nose.
I dont watch wrestling btw
When did he come on here? Regardless to everyone I think that him being popular is important for boxing because he is such a dynamic fighter. Very few people in any sport have the level of talent he has at boxing, he is one of the best athletes in the world at what he does and that is always special to watch especially in a 1 vs 1 type sport.

is it a sin to watch wwe, come on guys its freakin hilirious!

I agree Donny. I don't see anything wrong with Floyd appearing on WWE.
I remember title of the first article I read about it was "Mayweather continues crossover mainstream appeal" or something along those lines.
I never had any interest in WWE, but enough people out there do. It is also a market which buys tickets and purchases PPV's...just like boxing. This was not a rushed decision by Mayweather, it was well thought out and he will reap many benefits from it.
He did the same thing by appearing on Dancing with the Stars (which hit a demographic completely outside of the typically boxing fan)
What is good for the P4P champ is good for the sport. I bet a lot of people have shown interest in Mayweather fights (whether they like him or not) over the past year that have never had any interest in boxing in the past.

btw, it should be mentioned that ODH was offered a chance to participate on the whole wrestlemania angle and he said no

Exactly.
People should be glad that Floyd is getting these opportunites to appear at different events, because it means that people in the entertainment world are paying attention to what is going on in boxing. That's a good thing.
Unfortunately, a lot of people here would rather just bash Floyd for everything he does, instead of taking the time to think about what it might mean for the sport as a whole.
