It only looks stupid cos you've quoted using clown size fonts.
I agree with what your saying....but thats my point.
If there was no potential for the fight to be any bigger or more lucrative than the Urango and Collazo fights, then i could follow your logic and i would be calling for the fight.
But there is potential for this fight to be a very big fight....if it's left a little bit longer.
There was never any potential for Urango or Collazo to be big fights....they were merely to showcase him to the American public (bad choices for showcase fights imo).
This fight has potential and people need to understand thats why it's not happening yet.
If it doesn't happen i'll be right behind you calling him a bitch, but i think we should put this to bed and give him the benefit of the doubt for now.....
If hatton doesn;t fight him soon i think it will seriously affect his long term legecy. sure he just fought the best p4p in the world, but who wouldn't with the money he got paid? He made more in that fight than he will make for the rest of his career and he knows it.
What really pissed me off big style was him spouting that crap about not fighitng witter and giving him his biggest pay day for bad mouthing hatton? making a name for him self off hatton's back?
first off Ricky just got his biggest pay day for shooting his mouth off about floyd, "coming down like russel crow fighting like that singer girl crow" "seen more action in my 4 rounds than floyds career".... that's how he got floyd, simple as.
Now seconed, does anyone actualy think witter has gained anything in terms of media interest, or fight hype, or even a better class of apponenets or bigger pay days for calling out hatton and taking swipes at him? I;m not a witter fan and have given him some shit over the years but IMO the boy has worked very hard with little recognition to be where he is and hold the WBC belt. Personaly it's ironic for hatton to say that, simply because in my opinion hatton has always overshadowed witter, take hatton out of the fight scene and the english press would of been hyping witter up a long long time ago, he would of most likely made moe money by now, had better fights by now and held more belts. After all the guy has only one loss to a very very good Zab judah at the time, no shame in that.
hatton talks about being a guy whom the fans can look too, well they have been looking to him for some time to shut up and fight witter, regardless of everything that has happened; looking at this from a purly boxing perspective, he is the champion with the ring belt, witter is number one... defend you;re belt or adleast be man enough to vacate it and admit you don't have it in you.
I will be very exited if this gets signed.
I was impress with Witter the way he handle Corley and Vivian Harris.( with ease)

No, that's not how he got Floyd. He got Floyd because it made commercial sense, because he brought a proven pedigree, high profile and a massive following to the table. If Mayweather fought every guy who had a pop at him he'd be fighting every week.
[quote=Barlick;466204]Exactly, Floyd fought him when it made financial and commercial sense to him. ...and that happened to be after Hatton gave out an impressive performance against Castillo.
Hatton will do the same thing with Witter and take the fight when it makes commercial and financial sense.....and that will probably be at the end of this year or the start of next year
