There was a couple of times I thought he had him hurt, and he just wouldnt follow up
Now I will admit, there might be more to the story,he could have hurt his hand in training ala Calzeghe/Kessler,and was saving it,he could have pulled a calf muscle and didnt feel comfortable stepping out,the list is endless.
But from a boxing fans perspective, that fight was the equivalent of watching paint dry

....and apparently enough to make everyone forget about his 44 KO's the last of which he dispatched Ray Austin in less than 2 rounds

You can't MAKE the other fighter fight the way you want him to. If you can't deal with disappointment then don't watch boxing buddy

Lyle I have to hand it to you. You are a very loyal defender. I didn't think it was that bad really....... I mean it was uneventful. but then alot of things in my life are uneventful.

And if you cant take criticism of a lackluster performance, take up quilting
And yes,you can make the other fighter do what you want, thats what makes the sport interesting
    Its called "imposing your will"
Cmon, his corner was BEGGING him to throw the right, and he wouldnt do it

I said it wasn't a good performance by Wladimir but you take this one motherfucking fight and turn it into Wlad's whole career. The guy has had SOME success in his career not that you would notice.

6 fighters have gone the distance with Wladimir out of his 50 wins and he has the exact same KO percentage that one "Iron" Mike Tyson has, but Wladimir is "boring, he holds waaaaaaaaaaaaah"

Everyone faces a tough style every now and then and everyone has an off night every now and then too....used to be Wlad might lose a fight like that but he fought smart and he knew he couldn't impress people later if he didn't keep the belts.

What I am saying is don't give the guy so much shit just for one fight...it wasn't his best but there's nothing that can fix it now....so moving right along

No I didnt, and if you would go back and read,I expected a destruction in this fight.
That would indicate that I expected more from him
Almost like I had watched his fights, and thought he would do more, dont you think?

Yeah Wvlad can look good if you make him fight . Sultan couldnt so If Wvlads finds an easy way to win , hes gonna take it .

I was disapointed but knew it takes two to fight and Sultan was equally to blame . If Wvlad walked onto a shot , wed all be calling him stupid cuz he could have won easily if he just boxed .

That was almost as bad as Williams vs Audley. Actually it was worse.

I have no other comment to make other than i'd like 36 minutes of my life back please

At least John Duddy's face on tactics provided much needed entertainment.

Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis and MUHAMMED ALI did the same shit vs various opponents.

Wladimir didn't go for the KO but he dominated the fight, he fought smart, and showed that if he had to fight a Corrie Sanders now he'd beat him

Doesn't change the fact it was the dullest shit ever
