Wlad needs to try and look impressive and not just be satisfied with winning jabfest/clinchfest fight. He could of took Sultan out at anytime with his right hand but yet he wouldn't take that risk and why is that exactly ?? i think its something to do with confidence problems.
Wladimir wasn't gun shy he just didn't play into what Sultan wanted him to do. Sultan wanted Wlad to throw more right hands opening him up to counters. It was smart to fight the way Wladimir did....he could have tried to land a left hook now and then but Sultan was leaning back and loading up on the left hand.

No it wasn't an exciting performance but Wladimir won...he'll be exciting in his next fight especially if it is vs an orthodox fighter like Povetkin.
