As regards the religious debate, I really don't feel I have the right to advocate or condemn any idea or belief. Religion is of varying importance throughout the world and I feel that they all have similar aspects so I couldn't possibly offer anything more solid than an opinion on these orders.

But the fact is; In my own life, I do genuinely feel that I've been taken care of and I've been incredibly selfish, ungrateful and bad in the past.
Yep, i hear ya.. i mean, i was raised Catholic, i went to Catholic/Private school from kindergarten through my last year of high school.. so it wasn't til college that i was part of a non-catholic, non-private education.. It was just my upbringing.. church every sunday with my parents, church on all of the holy holidays.. i just felt that as i got older i re-evaluated my beliefs, and have come to where i am now..

I just find it ignorant when people imply that you're evil if 'YOURE NOT THANKING GOD?!?!".. this is not anyone on this board of course, i'm just saying in every day life.. It's almost as if you're evil if you don't have a religion.. and it is THAT about religion that i hate.. that is what starts religious wars (eg: the turmoil the middle east..) "If you do'nt believe in what i believe in, then you're wrong" That is the problem with society today.. I'm not evil nor do i wish anything negative upon anyone.. i'm more or less a pacifist (with the exception of boxing ).. but i don't think god.. does that mean that i'm not as grateful to be alive 22 years as you are?(not you personally obviously) I doubt it.
