We were having a meal after the weigth in. On the other table was Archie Moore With his crew and Big George, I said to a Boxing Historian mate dont Archie look great how old is he now. My mate said go and ask him it will be okay he likes people to ask him just go over put your hand on his shoulder and ask. I said you sure my mate said certain, so I did and got the reply mind your own Fucking Biusness. Going back I saw my lot laugthing there bollocks off. I said to my mate you cunt, His reply thats the two things he hates the most didnt you know people asking his age and strangers touching him. Anyway I went over and explained the wind up and apologised, we got on great after that nice guy.

I can't believe Missy gave me a bad rep for cockfighting. That kind event already existed before even Ferdinand Magellan set his foot in the Philippines. I know it's an animal abuse, but it's there tradition. It was televised on national television. That's how big the Slasher Cup is.

I was in that arena because of curiousity. I wasn't there to support breeders or place bets. COCKFIGHTING IS BAD.

I met Junior Witter at a celebrity footy match. He was walking round looking cool with his WBC belt. He let me hold his belt. It was 5 days before he beat Viv Harris. I told him he'd ko him....and he did. Seemed quite happy that someone knew who he was and he was actually a really nice guy. Quite small tho.

And i spoke to Dennis Hobson (ricky hatton's promoter...well not no more) over the phone once. I rang this number that i had for tickets for a Hatton fight and it appeared to be his mobile number. He was a bit angry actually but once i said 'aren't you his promoter?' he calmed down and was actually very helpful.

I met Terry Norris at an airport in San Diego. Fernando Vargas. And Marshall Martinez (hopefully he gets out soon) was one of cousins best homies. I also met Jorge Paez and Paul Banke when I was younger at the Great Western Forum.

Tim Witherspoon use to come to the gym i use to go to. He was real nice always willing to help guys. Even if he didn't know you he'd hold the pads for you and everything. Yuself Mack and Naji Turpin also went to that same gym. Both of them also were real nice guys.

I have met my fair share of guys, over the years I have met Hagler, Benitez, Pryor, Fullmer, Archie Moore, Willie Pep, Floyd and Tracy Patterson, Vernon Forrest, Verno Phillips, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Morrision, De La Hoya, Hearns, Nonito Doniare, Margarito, Cassamayor, Diego Corrales (one of the nicest guys I have ever met), Roy Jones, Cooney, Norton, Ali, ...Oh hell I can't even name them all. Not to mention promoters, trainers, managers I have met. Plus interviews I have done.

I still get a kick out of big names I have not met before and speak to for the first time. Has to do with being a fan of the sport I guess.

I am sure Mick has met more then I have over the years. He is like a staple at every big event west of the mississippi
