i'd do it, unless you intend on going to the olympics, or are just not ready...foget the cash, the experience will be worth it besides how many months gym dues can you pay with $500?
just saying....
Dont bastardise yourself, dont give them the satisfaction of knowing you can be bought. It will down the line come back to haunt you, trust me.

I would have thought with the Irish national title owned your next big goal would be the olympics?

Man I was tempted....
But I have plans...
The Olympics isn't my scene, I admire those guys, but in honesty with my style I would NOT be good enough. The concentration on clean points ratehr than style and pressure is not for me.
With my style however, I'd be good over 6-10-12 rounds, of that I'm sure.
One and a half more years at amateur and then I'll turn. But that was great money for boxing a guy I know I could beat. But as Scrap said, I envisioned them calling back for "favours" and the minute I declined something they'd probably just dob me in.

Have you spoken about it with your trainer?
