Why are people bringing up Mayweather fighting Hatton who isn't a legit ww? Is Mayweather a legit ww when he comes into the ring at 147 pounds? Was he a legit SWW at 150 pounds?

So u believe that 130 Pac would beat PBF when he was 130? Keep dreaming he wouldnt have had a chance.
Pac has fought lots of old fighters for money, similiar to what u accuse PBF of doing.
You say PBF should fight Cotto MArgo Williams Quintana to prove he is best?
Well Pac should fight Guzman, Valero, Diaz, Katsidis instead of fighters 5 years past their prime.

People will never be happy with what these guys are doing. People wanted pacquaio to fight Barrera again, but when the chance came and he took it people were mad he didn't fight Marquez, now he is fighitng Marquez and people don't even appreciate that and are now complaining that he wants to face Hatton without cleaning out the 135 wieght division, but my question is why after a fighter clears out one or two weight divisions do they need to clear out every single wieght division along the way? He's done everything everybody has wanted so now let him do his own thing

As for Hopkins he's #4 on everybody's list at the moment so I don't know why people think him above Calzaghe or Pacquaio deserve any type of challenge to PBF's crown.

Pac beat up Barrera 5 years ago. What are you talking about?

Plus, saying a prime Pac wouldn't have had a chance against a raw 130 PBF is an unsourced statement.

If PBF mixed the craftiness he has now with the lightning speed he had at 130 he'd beat PAC everyday of the week. I'd say raw 130 PBF would beat PAC.

Everyone analyses PBF's record so lets look at PACs.

    Last 8 fights
3k Battery, not a great fighter.
    Erik Morales, PAC lost
Hector Velasquez, not a great fighter
Erik Morales, good win for PAC.
Oscar Larios, moved up 2 divisions to fight PAC, had just been Ko'd in 3 by 122 Vasquez
ERik Morales Morales more than SHOT
Jorge Solis not a great fighter
    MAB was old and SHOT.

PAC is a great fighter, but u cannot accuse PBF of ducking guys and only fighting easy money fights when PAC does exactly the same thing.

The more I think about it, the closer I Think Pacman vs Mayweather would have been at 130... mayweather has a lot of trouble against that straight left hand, and PAcquaio throws that cross as good as anyone throws a cross. I think Mayweather for sure wins because Pacquaio would either get KO'ed or he would get hurt and stop throwing like against MArquez during the middle of the fihgt, but it would be a close fight, until like I said Pacquaio gets countered because Mayweather was stronger, bigger, faster, and better than the Marquez that fought Pacquaio.

I sincerely believe that if Hopkins defeats Calzaghe, which I think he is quite capable of doing. Then he deserves to be ranked as THE #1 P4P Fighter in the world.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

    Mayweather by a country mile.

Wasn't long ago that Hopkins lost twice in a row to Taylor.

Regardless of wether or not you think he was robbed, he still lost.

    So i vote Mayweather.....by far.

First of all, I'm not accusing PBF of ducking anybody. I don't know where'd ya that from, you prolly mistaken me from someone else. And second, I disagree with your excuses and whacked up theory.

What makes you say Pac is avoiding Guzman and Valero? Pac had to take care of the top dogs first. Don't worry, they'll get their chance to smooch the canvas too. They're gonna have to wait in line. Tsk! tsk! What can I say?.. So many fighters, so lil' time for Pac.

Saying Pac is avoiding Guzman and Valero is 100% bullcrap.

The point is PBF deserves to be P4P #1 end of story.

Really? Has everyone who thinks Hopkins ranks higher forgotten about Floyd's career at 130 and 135 where he beat everybody. Everybody. Even if you feel that Floyd should have 1 loss on his record (which I do), he avenged that loss. Bernard couldn't avenge his loss to Taylor.

    Hopkins biggest wins:
Tarver - one his most impressive performances
    Wright (Questionable win)
    Tito (naturally smaller)
Oscar (younger, but a smaller man)
    Joppy

    Floyd:
    Chico
    Castillo
    G. Hernandez
    C. Hernandez
Oscar (older, but the bigger man)
    Hatton
    Jesus Chavez

Floyd's stretch of fights from 2001-2003 is about as impressive as it gets - Corrales, Hernadez, Chavez, Castillo 1, Castillo 2, and just for good measure Sosa and N'Dou.

Now, he has beaten Ricky and Oscar is successive fights. Won the lineal championship in 4 weight divisions and beaten the recognized #1 LWW, albeit at WW.

Sorry, man, I hate him, but you can't deny he's earned his #1 p4p status.
