We went with Continental Airlines from Manchester to Newark Liberty (Virtually NY but technically New Jersey), they go from a number of UK airports I believe and your drinks are all inclusive and the staff are very friendly. You check out there website, here it is, I looked it up for you

Here are the names of two good pubs if you like a great selection of beers from around the world. They both draw a good mixed crowd.

The Blind Tiger - on Bleecker St in the West Village.

The Gingerman - 36th between 6th and Park.

If you want to go to the coolest, weirdest Japanese resaurant (Japanese tapas and 1000 different Sakes) check out this place. You would only find a place like this in NYC. Get the eel.

Stay the fuck away from Times Sq unless you are going to a show. It's corporate hell now and total tourist crap.

If you are into celebrity chefs and don't want to break the bank, go to Otto, at 1 Fifth Ave. It's Mario Batali's pizza and pasta join, very affordable and good. Then head over the Blind Tiger, it's pretty close by.

Thanks for all your input guys.

Last weekend Mrs Memphis and I strolled into the local travel agents like we owned the place and booked it up.

Thats right, Mel and I are off in 10 weeks to.....

    Turkey!

We made the mistake of trying to fit a holiday into our time off work rather than the other way around we couldnt do New York, our next destination of Egypt was out the window too. In the end we got the poor woman to search all flights leaving on the day we wanted and coming back when we wanted and Turkey was the best within our budget by a long chalk.

We will go to New York, Im not dissapointed actually, would be a shame really to go all that way and NOT take in a big fight.

I will keep all your comments though, thanks all
