Castillo lost his desire for the sport of boxing after Corrales died, or shortly after that it seems. He no longer has the will to stick it out in a tough fight or even train hard.
I think its all over for Temible as far as being a world class fighter goes. I love the guy though. He was a great Lightweight IMO. One of the best ever.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Yeah it really sucks that he's probably gonna be another broke boxer because of these weight issues. He had a great career and didn't blow his money on drugs, looks like the carne asada got him.
I can say as you get older your body changes and doesn't respond the same way. I am sure it would be possible for him to make weight, but the way that he's always done it doesn't work anymore. I hope he retires now though. He's really making himself look bad.
Also I think Bradley was gonna beat him by decision. Sucks for Bradley though cause he had a big name on the slide to make a name off of and now he's out.
Bradley has the goods also, good D and very good skills. Not a big puncher though.
He will have to continue to fight to pay for all the law suits that will be filed against him for not making the weight for his fights.
