Winky challenges Pavlik to June 7th showdown

I apologise if u were affended by my comment, but many people glorify the white boxer that does a little in boxing. Right away he can beat Winky, Roy, come on! be realistic. he is not that good, but that doesn't mean he cant eventually become a better fighter! You say he will beat Winky, OK, then how? What does Pavlik posses that can beat Winky?

Race doen't make the fighter, its the fighter that makes himself regardless of their race

I like winky, and I like watching him, but then again it doesn't have to be a slugfest for me to enjoy a boxing match, so I can see why some people would think winky is borring. Winky will be close to 37 and I think his window has come and gone, he should have taken an immediate rematch with taylor and he would have been mw champ. As it is now I think pavlik takes him, pavlik may not have 1 punch ko power but he's got enough pop that even winkys defense will eventually drop in the late middle rounds his arms can only take so much. I don't know I just think pavlik will be able to wear him down and win a decision most likely, however you can't count winky out if he's able to show up like he did 2 or 3 years ago he'll have a good chance of winning. Winky's also been pretty dam inactive I mean by the time june rolls around it will have been like a year since he stepped in the ring that can't be helping him. Also northside todays pavlik I think would beat todays roy, roy just isn't the fighter he used to be. And I agree with your comment race has nothing to do with a fighter, sure most greats have been non caucasians but that doesn't mean a caucasian fighter can't be great ie pep, marciano...and dare I say one day calzaghe.
