Haye said: "I walk the walk I talk the talk. I know how hard I punch. I've been in training camp constantly. I could have thrown bombs like that all night. I showed what the HAyemaker is all about. The fans out here made me feel great, and I'me happy to be a part of this event. I went to Miami for 5 weeks to get myself accustomed to the time for this fight. I want to thank all my friends and family and all the south London boys. I'm really happy. I got cut, which wasn't part of the plan. Once I got cut, I knew I was going to have to go after the finish then. That was a massive fight for me. It feels like I've got there now. Now its about moving up a division. Bring on Klitshcko, Bring on Sam Peter. Speed, accuracy, timing, athleticism, I've got it all. I'm a natural heavy and I'm going to dominate the heavyweight division. I'm not going to box after my 31st year, so I've got 2 1/2 years left to make my mark in the division, and that's realistic. After Calzaghe and Hatton retire, it'll be down to me to do my thing. People want to see me fight, because I'm the unknown, am I going to get knocked out, will I knock them out."

Enzo Maccarinelli: "I'm disgusted with myself. We all knew it'd be a matter of who landed first. I did what I've always been told not to. Dropped my hands and put my head up. It's a shame losing to a great champion, but somehow that's the way it goes. The occasion didn't get to me. I made a mistake, end of story. Enzo Calzaghe is brilliant, and he's going to kick my arse when I get back to the gym. I did totally wht I wasn't told to do. If we boxed 10 times, the result would be different every time. I've go the incentive now, and it's burning me, I'll kick myself when I get back."

Enzo Calzaghe: "Everybody makes mistakes. He knows the mistake he made, and we can rectify that. Saying that, he's got the heart of a lion and he will be back. He won't do that mistake again. I don't give a shit myself, he got caught with a good punch, end of story. Next time we'll play by the plans. "

OK guys, I'm gonna have to call it a night for this one, I'm in work in 6 hours, and I'll be glad I didn't drink tonight. Anyhow, I'll fall on my sword, I really didn't think Haye would get through the Maccarinelli guard, and he just wasn't careful enough. Haye's got the big bucks coming his way in the heavies. Maccarinelli.....I don't know. There still aren't that many cruisers there....but who knows if he can recover a second time.

Night all, don't drink too much and please, if you must vomit, use the toilets or the bins.

I'd like to see Haye v Herbie Hide. Two guys of similiar size with massive power and suspect chins. Would be fun to watch.

I have a feeling Hayes HW career may be like Hides. He will beat the majority early but will stumble agianst the giants like Wlad.
Hope im wrong tho cos performances like this are awesome to watch and he'd be great for the sport.

It's always a good fight with Juan Diaz involved.
