his beard is not suspect, yes he went down a few times against mccline but he was hammered a lot more by wlady but never went down. He was just caught better by mccline but not harder, so what he went down. others would of been out but peter still won a clear u.d.

he could beat any heavyweight out there, its not like we have great heavyweight. I don't think its even possilbe to over rate a heavyweight at the state the division is in

That's a good point. Aside from Wlad, who isn't by any stretch an ATG, the division is in a pretty sad state.

OK from the get go I have not really respected Sam Peter's power or the methods he uses to deliver it. I think he throws wide looping punches and any good boxer would pick him apart.

I think it would be AWESOME if there was a rematch between Wladimir and Sam Peter....it would be a slaughter....Wlad has tightened up his defense and his boxing is heads and shoulders above everyone else, there would be a KO for Wladimir this time around.

Sam Peter is just a limited puncher and hell I think John Ruiz would beat the crap out of him just because of the style matchup and Ruiz has gone back to doing what he used to do....he's good at it and Peter would be humiliated and frustrated.

If by Wlad's defense tightening up you mean being absolutely terrified to throw right hands or engage anyone, I agree, his defense has tightened up. Wlad will KO Peter? Gimme a break. Wlad will take his 12 round unanimous decision and be happy with it.

First off Wladimir has gone the distance with 6 fighters........6. The way posters like you talk about him it seems like he's the heavyweight Willie Pep and that is unfair.

Wlad was not afraid to throw vs Peter he landed numerous HUGE shots on Sam's forehead and I think a rematch would mean more of the same.....disagree if you will but I think Wlad rocking Sam Peter from 1-12 means the rematch will be shorter...had Wlad had a little more time in the final round there would have been a KO in that fight.

Wlad had very few punches land on him in his last fight too, mainly because he's fighting tall and blocking better


Wlad didn't throw the right cross vs Sultan Ibragimov because he was a southpaw who had very fast hands and threw shorter sharper punches....yeah that was a lack luster fight but when you have fought 53 times you're bound to have A lack luster fight.....how was Sam Peter vs Jameel McCline then? Maybe we should only judge him on that.....OR maybe we should only judge him on the fact he wasn't able to really KO Oleg Maskaev......OLEG MASKAEV!!!!

Sam Peter hurt Maskaev but couldn't KO him or even put him on the canvas!!! Oleg Maskaev an OLDER FATTER Oleg Maskaev who got demolished by the likes of Lance Whittaker, Corey 'T-Rex' Sanders, and Kirk Johnson!!!! Sam Peter's performance was less spectacular than Wladimir's fight vs Sultan.

He was cautious against Peter, he did land some good shots but for most of the fight he was cautious. And plus lets not forget Wladimir hugged onto Peter like an octopus, see for yourself.

Peter is a limited fighter but in the current crop of heavies he fits in well! I think against any of the top 10 guys he could lose on their day... but he could also KO anyone of them! They are all very mediocre IMO

Yeah but I'd rather watch paint dry than watch Klitschko fight. Lets not forget that Wlad has been stopped before, I know he has improved a heap since then but the facts are the facts. His a** was knocked silly twice! In a rematch with Peter I think it could be a bombs away fight from both guys (wishful thinking) & Peter has the power to stop Wlad. I don't think he will but thats the fight I wanna see next...
