I feel haye will take on someone of decent quality rather soon, however,, i hope he's recognised the possibilty of rushing the process. Should he jump into a big fight at heavy without properly assessing the potential difficulties he may encounter, he may well find himself in trouble.

Maybe Lamon Brewster if he's still fighting. Haye would have to watch his punch but he's probably shot and Haye could look good against him.

If i were David id go the WBO/ IBF Route.
Pretty easy to get up the rankings in some fairly easy but high profile fights (baring the champion).

1st fight - Rahman/ Golota/ Briggs/ Lyakhovich
2nd fight - Arreola/ Dimitrenko/ Virchis/
3rd fight - Povetkin/ Ibragimov/ Chambers
Title Fight - Povetkin/ W. Klitschko

Id stay away from the WBA for as long as possible. Chagaev, Valuev & Ruiz would be a nightmare for Haye.

Yeah Haye should fight Brewster, but Don has already used Brewster for what he wanted as a story now that Brewster has no use to Don King anymore he wont fight for quite a long time and its a shame

He should take baby steps to the title he's a cruiserweight moving up, throw him in with Wladimer and he'll be beaten and then be in heavyweight limbo for another few years not getting a shot. Stop trying to rush someone into a big fight situation because he just had a big one. It doesn't work that way and shouldnt. Let him beat some good ranked heavyweights first. I dont like the way that things are starting to turn in boxing with who gets shots..

Haye was at Heavyweight as an amateur Majesty, so he doesn't need to take baby steps at Heavyweight.

I agree with what your saying but a Wlad/ Haye fight would be bigger if Haye can make a name for himself in the division... beating a Golota after his last stirring appearance or a name like Holyfield just builds things up. I agree.. I think you guys are getting carried away talking about a Haye/Klit fight.. Klitschko seems to want all the belts, so he's only going to fight guys with the belts until he accomplishes that.. Although Haye has a ton of skill, he doesn't deserve a Wlad fight just yet.. He'll need to make a name for himself.. I think he'd take Ibragimov out, and considering Sultan has only lost to Klit, it would be a decent HW on his record if he beats him..

Either way, i think Haye has what it takes to beat Wlad, but Wlad won't risk getting hit and i see Wlad taking this one.. but Wlad's a big boring baby, and i'd love to see someone beat him.

Anywho....after he's the British Champion and he wants to fight heavyweights who are good on a WORLD level he should take on Juan Carlos Gomez or Alexander Dimitrenko

Id approve of Haye fighting Harison, Sprott, Williams and Skelton. But for it to be a challenge, he would have to beat them all in the same night. I think Haye could clear them all out in 4 rounds, one after the other.

Man people keep sayin Haye would take out Ibragimov, and I am NOT a Ibragimov fan at all. BUT the dude hits hard enuff himself and has NEVER been Kayod. So I dunno if Haye would stop him or not, might get himself stopped trying to. ya nevr know.
