You know what all the Cotto hype reminds me of? Felix Trinidada...There was a time when every thing about Cotto was being said about Felix....No fighter is unbeatable, and it does not always mean it will take the P4P ranked #1 in the game or a fighter of a naturally higher weight class....I am a Cotto fan but truth is if Malignaggi had the power to keep Cotto in check like a Witter lets say ( not saying Witter would beact Cotto and we all know they are in two different divisions)...Malignaggi would have beaten Cotto...Paulie just could not keep Cotto off him enough to box him correctly....His resume has improved and he gets better every outing but it would not be crazy if he met and lost to one of the other top WWt's out there....No fighter is an Iron Man and to try and hype them up as one is foolish...Be it Cotto, Floyd or anyone else...History has proven time and again that great fighters lose to lesser fighters even before their prime ends....

The welterweight division is so rich with talent, that many fighters have the potential to rise above and steal a win against any opponent.

Cotto is the front man now, and he could beat Mayweather and the rest of them. he certainly has shown a great ability to adapt. Strong and full of will, it will take a great effort by another great fighter to beat him.

Mayweather is so crafty, that it is difficult to imagine him losing. There are some welterweights out there though that have the ability to test his worth more than anyone up to this point has.

Then you get a dark horse like Margarito. He is inconsistent all the time and loses fights he should win. On the other hand, he is so strong and powerful. He throws incredible accurate combinations that I think he could beat anyone including Cotto or Mayweather on a given night. I am not sure if it is a motivation thing with him or not, but whatever it is, it certainly is disappointing.
